Today I am thankful for...

1.  Fridays, whoo hoo.

2.  The Nor Cal Losers luncheon tomorrow!!!

3.  Spending time with family and friends.

today I am thankful for:

My health...that I have not suffered any complications from my WLS...a dear friend is in the hospital with a blockage...he's only a month post op and it hasn't been easy for him.  Please say prayers for those who have hit bumps in the road of recovery.

My friends  and new ones to be made on OH...it is a comfort to know that the Cali gang is always here with encouragement and support. It's like going back to family...those who understand the road I have chosen.

A chance to reconnect with good friends tomorrow at the Nor Cali Luncheon.  I've only missed the last month but it seems ages since I have seen anyone...I am so excited to catch up!

Life is good...and happiness is everything I believed it would be ^_^

Hey you!  We will miss seeing you tomorrow.  Ms V wanted to send you and Lon a big hug!  We are going with Rick to his college reunion in Stockton for the weekend ( I hope she lasts for the whole thing).  We need to have you over!!

Dress for HOT!!!!  Stockton is worse than Sacramento!  I grew up right around the corner from UOP...spent my summer youth at the pool ^_^   And I agree...we have got to get together!!  and Soon ^_^

the cool weather this morning (supposed to be 90 this weekend in Stockton!!)

Getting a lot accomplished while I was home this week!!

My mom who has been taking good care of my Dad who is not cooperating at the present moment (men sometimes they do no know what is good for them!!)

I'm thankful for my husband - the love and support he has given me, but especially recently with my new venture.  I'm thankful my nephew who jumped off of a popular cliff in Santa Barbara (80 ft high) ONLY got a compression fracture with NO spinal damage!!  I'm thankful for being able to go to the 'losers lunch' for the first time tomorrow and meeting a bunch of new folks :) and being able to ride my bike to do it!!

I AM ON VACATION!!!!  nuff said

I depart LAX in the morning arriving in Amarillo, TX about 8pm.  Then drive into New Mexico.  I will stay w/my dad in Clovis until Wednesday, then drive to Vaughn to stay with my mom until Saturday, then we are off to Ft. Sumner Lake (home town of Billy The Kid) for a huge 50th anniversary party.  Both side of my family will meet up there and party for 2+ days.   LOL   Then back to CA on Monday evening.

This will be the first time my family will see me since before surgery.  Woo Hoo
