My WOW moment today

 Hi Everyone,

Today I went to buy a couple of tank tops and see if I could find some shorts to take with me on vacation.  I have not worn a tank top since Jr High.  Well, I bought 1x in the tops and thought maybe I should try on a 20 in bottoms as the 22's I bought last month are sliding off.  Well, I did not buy a 20 I bought an 18.   WOW  

While there I decided to have a bust measurement as I have never ever been sized.  Can you believe I was a 48DDD prior to surgery and was sized for a 40DD.   Ha Ha.   Fashion Bug was having a sale on buy 2 get 2 free so I bought in every color.  I so needed some new bras to get the girls into the position where they belong.

Being that I will be getting on a plane on Saturday I am looking forward to buckling the seatbelt without an extension.  I am sure that will be very possible.  My biggest concern is that as I go through security check, I will start beeping with the underwire in the bra.  LOL   I have never worn an underwire bra as well.  

I guess I should get used to all the firsts I am experiencing as I am sure there is to be more.

That is so great Annette. I wear 50 48DDD. I have never worn a underwire bra either. I tried one on but the wires hurt Keep up the good work.

I have worn a couple, but because I never had a measurement to get the actual correct size, I think it was too big and yes it did hurt.

Let me tell you, I am wearing one of the bras I bought yesterday and it is just sooooo comfortable.  I got measured at Fashion Bug while there yesterday.  I don't know the ladies name but I always ask for her opinion on things like how it looks etc. because she is brutally honest.  She is the black lady that work there in the Lakewood store.  She is just great.  I actually had her come in the room after putting the bra on to give me her opinion.

Go get fitted and you will notice the difference.

How great is that?  You are doing an amazing job and these wow moments just solidify your achievements.  I need to go bra shopping too, definitely the tennis balls in tube socks thing goin' on here!  LOL.  I think maybe a trip to Fashion Bug up here is in order!

Sometimes I feel like I should have already lost more, then there are times when I feel like if I never lost another pound that would be fine as well.  This WLS is not black and white it is just kind of crazy with milestones, accomplishments & wow moments.  In 2 years I may see it differently if I start putting my weight back on, but I will work to make sure that does not happen.

The WOWs will just keep coming, bask in them.  Keep rocking that Tool!!  You should not make the security at the airport go off.  I always wore under-wire and never had a problem.  A lot of them are actually plastic!

This really is a crazy ride, but it's all good and I am happy with what I have accomplished in 11 mos. so far.

If I go off at the airport I may actually just crack up.  This would be hysterical, I am hoping that it is plastic.   LOL

You are so funny.  I am really getting a kick out of your post and am very happy for you.  I am just picturing you getting hysterical as you go through the machine...then you try to explain why you are laughing, they might put you in the interrogation room or on the "no fly" list, ha ha :)  Have fun and keep up the great work.

You better believe my back & sholders no longer hurt.  The sad part is that as big busted that I have always been, the girls hung pretty low.  Now without all the extra fat/tissue they are stretched really low now.   LOL

You've heard that joke about WLS boobs?

What did one WLS boob say to the other WLS boob?  Thank God for good support, otherwise we would be mistaken for nuts.     HA HA HA
