HI Bobby....

I walk alone because my walking buddies have flaked out too many times.  I go to a park with a nice one mile walking loop.  I bring my iPOD.  I have a bunch of tunes to listen to.  If a slow song comes on, I switch it to a fast one to keep up a nice pace.  I have a weird mix from the Monkees to The Killers and all kinds of other stuff.  You might even find a walking buddy at the park.  Good luck.

I wish I lived closer Bobby! I have been looking for a walking/exercise buddy for awhile now =( . It gets dull going by myself all the time. Goodluck on finding one. =)

Hey there...Brian from Turlock.  I work in Modesto as a security guard...walk all day so I'm pooped at the end.  A couple of thoughts...Dry Creek has a great trail starting behind HSA (the old Scenic Hospital) all the way past the city's golf course.  The mall is a great walk too.  CSU Stanislaus and MJC (East or West campus) is cool also.  If you have a chance come and check out the Men's Forum  http://obesityhelp.com/forums/men/   Many guys have had your operation.  PM me if I can be of help.  Brian
