Good Morning OH'ers
Good Morning Calif.....
Can you believe its the weekend already? This week went fast. I hope the weekend take's its time and just slowly passes, even if I have to work the whole weekend.
Yesterday my friend Cyndi came over and went for a walk. We walked to the nursery up the street and looked stuff and then crossed the street to Staters and shop for a bit, then walked back to the nursery and Cyndi got some plants and walked home carring them. When we got home, we went and ralaxed in the pool. I could only go in about waist deep, because I can't get my tattoo wet yet. But it was really was still very relaxing. After dinner, we walked but the store and got the stuff we forgot the frst time. LOL Over all a great day!
Steph....Didn't know they stopped that program, I guess its a good thing I said something to you, either wise I would have made a fool of my selft. LOL
Amy..........how was your day with your friends? Did you make it to the pool?
Ann........Great job, keep them phones going, do not stop called, just remember to always be nice. Keep a smile on your face.
Elizabeth.......what did you and Ryan do for your speical day? Did grandpa join the day and make double speical? What did ya all do?
So what do you have planned for the weekend and for fathers day? Are you going to do anything speical for your "father" Maybe a BBQ or a take him to his favorite place to eat/go.
OK time for the shower and for more coffee. I wish you all a great day.
Be safe and Be smart, and enjoy your time above ground.

Well Ryan and I went to Target and bought a DVD for him. Then we came home and watched it. Grandpa put together his Thomas train tracks. He made a really big one and Ryan played with his trains. He also watched the Thomas movie "Hero of the Rails". He loves that movie. I asked him if he wanted to go to the park and he said that he wanted to stay at Grandma's house. I picked him up around 10 in the morning and took him home about 6 in the evening and he still did not want to go home. Of course when we got there he was really happy to see his Mommy and Daddy. But he told my DH and me to take off our shoes and stay. It feels great to be so loved by him. I know we sure love him too and Devan.
This morning I am riding the Amtrack to Hanford. I am going with a few Redhat friends. We are going to meet up with another group and go to lunch and then do some shopping. I have never rode on a real train. I think we will have fun. I hope so.
Well I need to go and start getting dressed. I hope all of you have a great day.
Happy Fathers Day to all of you fathers out there!
Lu don't work too hard this weekend, do find time to enjoy as well. Sounds like you had a good time yesterday tho.
This weekend is somewhat a relaxing one. Had a good day at work yesterday, went to a teacher career fair in the morning and got to talk to many nice people who are just finishing up with their teaching credentials. Then in the afternoon, I sat in on an interview panel. Came home, went to dinner with Ron's Mom and a friend of our and came home and played dominoes. Such a nice evening!
Today brings laundry, nails done and a pedi! Tomorrow a visit to my father-in-law for father's day. Not much else is planned, which is sure nice.
I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Remember to do something nice just for you!
Hugs,
Barb
Lu, I hope you had a good day at work. No catastrophe's and not overworked. As for Disney, I still think we should go at some point. You could get an annual pass. All you have to do is pay for the one day, which is taken off the annual pass amount, then they will set you up on a monthly pay plan. It can cost as little as $10.00 a month. Mike and I got the premium annual passes so we can go anytime we want. No black out dates. But I didn't get that one for my son. He's perfectly happy with the one he has and I added on parking to his pass. The passes have been so worth the money. Even though Mike's and my passes were almost $400, we have more than gotten our money's worth out of them already. So think about it. Or think about just going for a day. Remember what a good time we had a couple of years ago when we went. I wonder if that poor man on that ride in CA Adventure ever got the feeling back in his hand. LOL
So not much planned for me this weekend. Need to clean the house. Tonight we have nothing planned. Maybe a DVD. Mike went on the Bike up the Mountain ride today. It's a big motorcyle event. Will propably be thousands of riders up there today. It's nice that Big Bear is only about 1/2 hour from us. We love to go up in the summer to get out of the heat down here. Even took a 5 day vacation up there 2 summers ago. I just love that town. Of course, I don't love it in the winter when it's covered in snow.
Oh well, time to get some breakfast and start the day. My vaccum awaits me. Oh joy!! LOL Hope everyone has a great weekend.
