I Just Remembered
5 years ago today I had my surgery. Here are my stats.
Starting weight 418lbs
Current weight 262lbs
Weight loss 165lbs
Had and intestinal hernia repair and pouch size correction (mine was left the size of a soda can) in 2008
Had my gall bladder out in 2009
Most importantantly had a daughter, bought a car and a house in 2008
This is the first year I weigh more on my anniversary. Last year I was 255. But I will knock those suckers down and a few more to boot.
This is and continues to be the best thing I have ever done for myself. Not only has the surgery saved my life, but the lifelong friends I have met and continue to meet throught OH has kept me very grounded.
Thanks to you all . ROCK THAT TOOL!!!

Hey Girlfriend,
I missed everyone at coffee also. I was on vacation for the last two weeks and just returned last Monday (guess I should have posted about that , lol). I went on a cruise to the Bahamas for a week and stayed in Baltimore for another week. I have to tell you, my family really rolled out the red carpet for me. I really enjoyed myself. Between all of my personal issues, travel issues, fun and work issues , I don't get to post very often.
I just looked at your blog and OMG, you make me want to curl my locs. Yours are beautiful! I cannot wait to see them in person.
Without struggle, there is no progress.
