HI EVERYONE FROM TN

Hi Everyone in cali..
hope everyone is doing great . i so so miss cali alot . i hope to come back one day ,not sure when but  one day . Well im trying to get back on track its not so easy when stress and depression is a issue . i am glad to say that i am back on my vitamins complements of bariatric advantage . i get a 90 day supply for free evry 90days .so thats not a issue for me anymore cuse i dont have money ,nor do i have a job anymore as of yesterday . i was working for the census and well they laid off a bunch of us due to lack of work . its almost over anyways. so im looking for a new job . i hope i find one soon or i will be sleeping in my car forsure. its been a rough year being here .i have moved 5times and have had 8 jobs in a year thats so bad and depressing . i cant find a dr here who will take me as a patient because i had another dr at ucla do my surgery. i just need them for follow ups and if a issue arises . but im out of luck on that .any suggestions i will listen  and take .

Rebecca, you are in my prayers that you find stability in your life.  After having gone through 59 years of the ups and downs of life, I can tell you that life can be very, very good when it's more stable.  Pray for Guidance, and daily write down five things that were good that day.  Love and God bless.

hi Janell, how are you ? thank you for the kind words. i shouldve never let this old boyfriend back in my life in 2007 my life as gone down hill since and im broke becuase he had a hold on me and all my IRA retirement is gone and all my other money is gone . i hope one day to be back in cali and with my oh friends and cali frends and my daughter . tn is nice but its not home. ya know.

Rebecca My Dear My thoughts and prayers are with you!!!  Your health is a very important issue right now. In CA they have basic adult care, medi-cal (medicaid) I would go to the closest "county" hospital and work with their finacial councelor.  A doctor should not be leary of seeing you if you had RNY at UCLA. I know that sometimes if you've had surgery in another country they don't like to.  But you had your surgery at a respected Hospital.   

My Compliments to Bariatric Advantage for caring for you!!! I will try to buy from them if they are that caring of a company. My thoughts will be with you, my prayers for you are that one day you will look back on this and see what a strong and successful woman this strife has made you!

thank you so much . my dr at ucla reffered me to some one here but he wouldnt take me after talking to the ucla dr . so i really didnt comply to well after surgery i had a fear of gaining the weight back so i didnt eat or drink anything for along time and was anorexic for awhile and in and out of the hospital for dehydration and very low bp.. so i decided to start eating and of course my fear came true just what i didnt want to happen did. so im thinking maybe i should go back to not eating and drinking anything til i lose the weight again. i knwo that is not smart but im getting frustrated. but again thank you for the kind words

Rebecca,seriouly you can't be talking of your old behviors again. You know what that did to u in the past!  As someone else said go to a county hospital or public hospital.  You may not qualify for medicaid but a financial counselor can help you re your health insurance,  I seriously urge you to talk to someone re the mental health issues,  (your depression).

hi liz , how are you ? yea my old habits have crept back up . but im trying to stay on track, easier said then done i say . but like for dinner today i chose to have roasted chicken and some corn ,not so bad i quess. but yea im seeing some one here for my mental health im on like 8medications a day for it .i have applied for ssi through my drs from cali and here so they fell it would be best so that i can get the insurence and health care that i need. .i know everyone almost from the cali site was a great source of support . i just get so down and out that i start to eat . the good thing is i dont drink any more its been since 2008 when i stopped all alcohol .i did get a responce from the ga and tn forum last night that gave me some support groups that are through the surgeons and one said that might take me on as a patient even thou i had my surgery elsewhere . so well see how that goes

I know it's hard to see the forest thru the trees right now..  Trust me I know how hard it is when life throws you a curve ball.  I always try to fall back to this philosophy in my life.  When everything in your life is completely out of control, take control of the things you can, like your health/weight. 

I truly hope things start to turn around for you!
