Save the Date

We had a great time at coffee this morning in Redlands and have decided we MUST get together again.  So, in honor of Ann who is waiting on her date for surgery, we're are going to bring back the "last supper".  We used to have them here all the time.  Every time someone was ready for surgery we all went out to dinner.  We used to get huge turnouts.  One time, it wasn't a last supper, but it was in honor of three of our OHer's getting ready to run the LA Marathon, we had over 100 people show up.  Let me tell you Olive Garden was overwhelmed by us.

Anyway, we decided today that Saturday, July 17th we are going to go to dinner.  It will most likely be at BJ's on Hospitality in San Bernardino.  I just wanted to post about it now and later I will put together all the details and put up a full post.  We'd love to see alot of folks join us.  How about some of you LA and Orange County lovelies getting in your cars and coming on out?  Come on, let's try to get this board back to what it once was.  I know many of you are reading the board and not posting and I do understand why, but it's time to put all that BS aside.  You can make time for Facebook and OH. 

Hope you are all having a great weekend.  I'm off to bake some cookies. We are going to a friend's for dinner tonight.

I was just wondering do they still hav Bobby McGee's in San Bernadino? We would go there when we lived in Victorville. We also went to one in Oxnard when we lived in Camarillo. They were so much fun.  Oh well I know this has nothing to do with your post, so I will give it back!  

No, Elizabeth, no more Bobby McGees in San Bernardino.  The last one I knew about was in Fullerton, but my son tells me that one closed recently.  Too bad, they were good and fun, especially for kids.....big kids too.

They were fun! There speciality drinks were so good! We have been in Merced for 20 years so it has been a long time since we lived near one.  Thanks for answering. Have fun at dinner tonight.

I had a great time today, even if I was running late and burning my arm off. LOL But hey, I made it and I had a great time. Thank you Steph, for setting the coffee up. As you all ready know, I am soooooo there on July 17th, I have all ready spoke with DD and if she is not in the hospital she is going also. So Lusty Lu, for 2. LOL

Now all you OH'ers INK your calanders and be there. I promise you will have a blassed. The dinners are always fun. Think of all the new wonderful knew people you can meet and maybe a new best friend. Think about, we met Ann today and we are having a dinner for her, and to get together with old friends and have wonderful evening with friends.

So keep an eye out for Steph post and come and join us.

I am so sorry to have missed the get together this past weekend, I had a family/pet emergency.
Put me on next month's "really gonna try to get there" list!!  Lots of ladies I haven't seen in months.  My last OH outing was a scary one for me...I was lucky to have the privilege of riding with two excellant drivers, going and coming home...but the RAIN terrified me on the freeway!!..lol  I do believe rain is NOT in the forecast next month..lol  If it is...I'll take a Xanax and have somebody wake me up whene we get there..lol

Sorry to have missed the get together! Hopefully I will make the next one... but not sure, because I might be in Carlsbad that weekend on vacation... I think it is that week that. We get back on the 18th, I believe... If I don't make that one, I will make the next one for sure... dang! I'm so mad I missed this passed one... Hopefully next time...
