How long did it take for Healthnet Medi-cal to approve?

Hey y'all-

Im in central CA and have Healthnet Medi-cal. I will have all my pre-surgery requirements for surgery done this Friday. So I was curious if anyone else has this insurance and how long did it take for them to be approved for surgery?

For me is was right a way....the first request... just an FYI the doctors letter to the insurance company HAS TO SAY!!!!! MEDICALLY NESSESARY..NO OTHER WORDING WILL DO

O thats great to know! The surgeons office has worked with Healthnet medi-cal for awhile, im confident that the letter they will send will only say Medically Necessay... but maybe i will ask to see it saturday when I go.

Im  in Fresno, so a nice 5 hours away from SD. but thanks any advice is appreciated.

Are you choosing to wait til October for surgery or is that when Medi-cal said you had to have it? Also was it like a month ( more or less ) from submission before you knew?
