hello, i had my surgery 5/28

hello,  i had my sleeve surgery on 5/28  so today is day 6 post op,  i cannot believe how good i am doing,  i really thought it would be much worst, i was originally denied because anthem blue cross considers the sleeve investigational so i appealed and won with an independent medical review,  thankfully california has this option and it is gonna save my life,  have heath issues and really looking forward to a better future,   i usually post on the sleeve forum and sometimes on the lightweights but i have checked you guys out on occasion and so i wanted to say hi,  i live in the pasadena area and wondered if anyone ever does anything in this area??

There are several coffee and get togethers in the So Cal area and while I have not had the chance yet to come down and be a part of one, I have met some fantastic So Cal friends from the OH board. So watch the postings for the coffees and get togethers and jump in!

There is the Nor Cal luncheon once a month in Concord. Barb post about them. If you go down the forum page you will see a post. They are a lot of fun!

i have been considering several different names but i read on here that you cannot ychange our user name,  that i would have to cancel my account and start a new one and then i would lose all the stuff already on my profile page so im considering how i want to hadle this,  :o) but yeah,    jeani has her sleeve,  and couldn't be happier
