Kaiser is only using Pac Bar right now because the other Kaiser facilities are so overbooked... they are not using Crown because they are having an issue they have to dispute so they are not accepting Kaiser patients as of right now....

as far as surgery date, I don't have one yet... just in the processesing of paperwork phases right now. Hopefully will get a consultation by the end of June beginnning July... Pac Bar is becoming crowded too right now with Kaiser patients.

I will keep you in mind for your surgery... the countdown is on... WOOHOOO! I wish I could say that.... soon enough though, I'm sure. I'm getting very nervous and anxious though.... good to hear from all of you, and hope to keep hearing..

I finished my Options classes back in December 17 of 2009.

And I didnt get surgery until April so you 'Might" be in for the long haul. I loved my surgery. But I did have mine at Kaiser West LA.

well, they did say kaiser west LA was booked, and now everyone is going to Pac Bar... they gave a time frame of about 2 months or so... that would bring to August... Keeping m,y fingers crossed!

I'm Marie and up here in Sacramento. Welcome to our Cali Board! I'm pretty new around here too. Where are you on your journey to WLS? I have found this site and especially this Calif Board to be so much help and support. People here are friendly and you just know you're not alone. I love it and try to come on the Board at least 4 times a week.

Thanks again for all the welcomes... I love it!   I am coming close to get a surgery date hopefully... I just posted a "great news... i think" topic... let me know what you think.... If all goes planned, I can either look at end of July for surgery, or sometime in August or September  depending on where I go... I am very nervous, because this doc through kaiser, i don't know much about yet, and with Pac Bar, I know they are a specialty place... we'll see.... I am planning on going o a consultation with this doc thru Kaiser....

I wanted to welcome you and the other new ones too. I have been gone since last Wednesday and I am seeing so many new names and faces in that short time! The best way to get to know everyone is to just start jumping into all the post. I am looking forward to getting to know all of you. Don't be afraid to post, usually someone has an answer.
