Hi and Welcome. I am Ann and kind off new too. I have not had surgery yet, but hopes are for end of July. I am currently, jumping through the Kaiser hoops. Will be done with my first big hoop on Friday, completion of my options classes.

I have not had my surgery yet either, I just finished the Kaiser Options class last week, and now its just the waiting game... looks like my surgery wont be till September or October... Happy Birthday to me if I get it in October... :) Hopefully sooner though, you know Kaiser though... especially if ALL kaiser patients are going to Pac Bar right now.

Just curious but why are all Kaiser patients going to Pacific Bariatric right now. Is kaiser not doing surgery at West LA or Harbor city anymore??

That's just like me.... I should have read all the posts before replying to your first posting. Hello to everyone here and welcome to all of you who are new here.

I'm not with Kaiser but with Blue Shield. I have just completed my last physical, had my mammogram this morning, get my bloodwork done Monday morning, then just wait for a date. I started my journey last October. I work in education so I was hoping I would get scheduled for this summer since I'm off for 6 weeks. I'm still crossing my fingers and praying!

Welcome to the boards to the both of you. i was going to have surgery last Qct. 21 went in and because liver & hernia problems i woke up without surgery. but going on June 18 to see if they will do it now. there is alot of knowledge on this site and a bunch of very supportive people here.welcome

Hey Anna,

I'm new as well. I have my surgury scheduled for 06/15/10.. 13 days...I'm so excited. I also would like to get to know some people on here. So keep me in mind. What is your status on your surgery?
