Kaiser & getting a seminar date

Last Friday was 3 weeks since my PCP had put in my referral to Fremont to get the appointment for the all day seminar thing. I always have my cell phone with me and never received a phone call. I also check my email on a consistent basis and nothing there either. I have not received anything through the postal mail either. I emailed my PCP on Friday to see if she has a number to contact them at or if she knew how long it took for them to get in contact with me. A few hours later I get a reply.

"05/23/10 09:00 AM At FREMONT"

That's all it said. Nothing more. WTF? I don't know even know where this place is other than its towards the Bay and she gave me a date 2 days away? I replied to my PCP on Saturday and told her there was no way I could make that appointment and again asked for a number so that I could contact them. I have yet to receive a reply from her.

Does anyone here who also has Kaiser (North) have the number I need to call?

They gave you a date that's already passed? Sounds very unprofessional and I would call them immediately for directions. Maybe someone on here just went to one and can also help direct you on how to get there...

I also attended the Fremont seminar a couple of years ago and I recieved a packet from Fremont  a couple of weeks before the seminar date. It will have all the information in the packet as far as what to expect and directions. Good luck!

Hi Julie, I had my surgery through Kaiser Freemont a couple of months ago. I had a really experience, with the exception of a few scheduling difficulties. Sprry you're having such trouble. Please feel free to PM if you want some advice on how to manuever through. The number for them is
