Hello Everyone!
Well welcome to the board, although I am not a regualr on here I do check in from time to time. There is a lot of useful info you can find here so have fun.
As for the approval process, all I can say is NEVER give up. You can get an approval in a few weeks or take 5 years like it did for me. Was it worth the fight, that would be a big YES!
I had the RNY done a little over a year ago and have lost 142 lbs. I feel great! There have been ups and downs, but all the hard work pays off in the end. Nothing beats being able to play with your kids or bending over to tie your own shoes lol.
Good Luck with the whole process and if you need an ear I am always available

Welcome to the Cali Board. We have the most wonderful people on this board. I am sure there will be more to welcome you. I had my RNY on 9-9-9. I am so glad I had this surgery. I have lost 98 lbs. I have to agree there are ups and downs. You really need to do the research before you see your surgeon. If you have any questions be sure and post them. The best way to get to know everyone is to just join in. I will be looking forward to hearing more from you.
