I made the most awesome decision of my life and had my WLS!!!!
I can't believe it has been 3 years and what a FABULOUS 3 years it has been!!!!
has it been all good, hell no, but the end result is GREAT!!!! I would do it again in a heartbeat.
I lost 110 pounds, diabetes, HBP, sleep apnea, a **** load of things that only "us" would understand, and gained a whole lot of wonderful things. Like finding the "real" me and being able to be her without fear. And because of that I was able to walk away from 27 years of emotional and verbal abuse from the man that was suppose to love me unconditionally, but wasn't capable of that. It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, but I am so grateful that God gave me the strength to finally do it and wow has He blessed my life since then. I now have the most wonderful man, who treats me like I deserve and who loves me because of who I am, and for that there is no price tag!!!!

So, if you are out there trying to decide whether to do this or not, for me, it was the best decision I've ever made and I can't imagine my life without all that I've gained from it. And alot of that is the FABULOUS people in my life because of this great website!!! OH is a great place for support and lifetime friendships. And us Cali peeps do many outings, some monthly, so find us and come meet us, you won't be sorry you did!!!!!

Congratulations Becky! What a lot to go through in 3 years. I am glad it all turned out so well! Thank you for sharing too, you will inspire more people than you will ever know!

Happy Surgiversary to you my friend. Even more congrats on all of your accomplishments. I've been through what you did too only mine was after 25 years and pre surgery. I must say, the surgery has given me confidence I never knew I had too!!! Love you lots and so happy for you.
