Good Morning Friday/Calif

Welcome this Freaking Farout Friday!!
Can you believe its friday already? This weekend is going to be a busy on for me. First, I feel like poop. Want to crawl back into bed and sleep for a month.

Tormorrow, my friend and I was doing a walk. 7 mile (I think) round trip hike at the Devil Pounch Bowl. I can not wait. I think it would be tons of fun, if not lots of work. Ohh but what a feeling to finish.
Tomorrow night, I have bingo with DD and my niece. Its a fund raiser for something, that I can not recall, I think its for 4h but what do I know. Then I work a few hours on Sunday to finish somethings up. then bowling with some co-workers. Not that I am bowling, not with my thump just about all better, nope, I am going to cheer them on and take pictures. LOL

OK so I would like to know what all you have planned? So lets hear it.

Good Morning Lu and the rest of California and Happy Freaken Friday to all....Hip Hip Hooray!!!

Been a long week for some reason.  But the weekend is finally here.  We don't have any plans though.  Probably just going to be a quiet stay close to home kind of thing.  Mike was talking about the Computer Show and Gun Show this weekend, so we might wind up going to one or both of those.  Not that I'm really interested in either one.  But it's a day out and we get to walk around and look at stuff.  Nothing at either one that I would be interested in buying so at least it keeps my wallet in my purse and I don't spend money.  Now take me to the mall for a walk and that's an entirely different situation. LOL 

Bingo, Lu.  OMG, I haven't done bingo in years.  As a kid it was a real popular event in my home town.  Both the church and synagogue had bingo.  So Tuesday nights were at the synagogue and Friday nights were at the church.  It really was alot of fun.  We were just a bunch of kids having fun and actually staying out of trouble.  It was such a simpler time.

Well guess I should get busy here.  The more work I try to get done will hopefully make the day go quicker and bring the weekend on faster.  Everyone have a great weekend.  Have fun and stay safe.

Hey Lu and Steph! I have never played bingo except at a kids type party when I was, well a kid. I love to play Bunco when I get a chance.  I would love Bingo too. I love to win though and tend to get mad when I don't. I am able to keep it to myself though.

Well today I had the kids. Ryan was in preschool until 11:30 so Devan and I had some special time. I put her in her stroller and we walked for about an hour. She feel asleep at the end of our walk. She really enjoyed our walk, so did I.

We are babysitting our granddog, Chardo, this weekend. We will go let our other granddog, Reese, out in the morning and in in the evening and feed him. The kids are going to San Jose to visit Lisa's brother and his family. It is her nephew's 3rd birthday.

I really need to do some housework too. So that is pretty much my weekend. I'd rather be playing Bingo! I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Lu, I hope you feel better so you can do all the stuff you have scheduled. Bingo is fun, but the last time I went, I angered some regulars because I was chatting quietly with my friend while playing. Those folks take their bingo seriously. One time the caller kept making mistakes and I thought the regulars were going to kill the caller.

Stephanie, at first I thought you said you'd be going to a Gun and Computer show, not two separate shows. I suppose you could do both in one room??? It would be an interesting combination of people :-)

Elizabeth - You are such a good grandma!! I hope you enjoy the grand dog. I love cats, but I know someday I will adopt a dog. They lift my mood everytime.

I am a bit bummed. I wanted to go see a movie tonight, but my husband is on the verge of what seems like a nasty head cold. Maybe I'll leave him home with some soup and find a friend! I've had a very busy two weeks with a lot of 12 and 13 hour long work days with no exercise (partly due to my schedule and partly due to an injury). The weekend will be spent hanging out with my mom, running errands for her and doing her housework. She's in pain or the pain meds make her rummy. She sleeps a lot and isn't eating much. I hate seeing her like this.

I am hopeful I'll find some time for a manicure and maybe a massage this weekend. We shall see.

Oh now that is a thought MsB....A computer/gun show.  Wow...nerds with guns.  That is scary. But ask anyone who knows my Mike (and there are plenty from around here who do) and they'll pretty much tell you that's my guy. A nerdy gun totting nut job with a law degree.  Yup, pretty darn scary indeed. LOL

Good afternoon everyone,

Hard to believe it if Friday already, where did the week go. My parents got here on Monday, and it has been great having them here. My mother and I put in some solar lights in the front of my house, washed my windows and did some yard work in the back yard. It was great to get some more of the stuff cleared out of my yard. Went to the doctor yesterday, my follow up from my hernia surgery. He says I'm doing well, and I can go back to work next week.  I was a bit concerned because I have a lump beside my belly button, but he wasn't concerned about it. Feels it just a hematoma and it would go away on its own, but to keep a eye on it too. I'm actually happy about going back to work. I certainly enjoyed being off though from work. I needed a good break from it. Not much else going on around here. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend.
