Good Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1.  Being a Mom and a Grandmother.  While currently my children choose to exclude me from their lives and my grandchildren's lives, I still am their Mom and their Grandmother and no one can take that honor away. This situation was not my choice and the loss is theirs.  So, I just have to live vicariously though others to get my enjoyment!  I am blessed with all sorts of honorary grandkids, sons and daughters!!

2.  For having the best Mom anyone could have ever asked for.  She was my very best friend in life and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss her.  While I lost her to cancer in 2001, she's never gone from my heart.  In fact, I wear a rose around my neck in her honor... her name was Rosemari!

3.  For the wealth of blessings God has given to me, my fantastic husband, my wonderful friends both in person and on line.  For my healthy life and my WLS.  I am truly such a lucky woman!

My son who lives in Roseville called me this morning. He is so sweet. My other son and his family will be coming over soon.

I am thankful for you Barb! ........you remind me everyday that I have so many things to be thankful for.  Even on those days I want to sit and complain about things I cannot change.  I am thankful for your dependability!

I am also thanful for my garden and the peace it delivers

It is evening now but thought I would post

Today I am thankful for all the mothers out there including single dads and those without children but make a significant impact in childrens lives.

For the local PanAm Fiesta.  I went on 2 of my favorite rides today.  Something I have not done in years and had room to breathe without the bar smashed against my chest or stomach.

For my family and the love they share with me and not allowing me to lift one finger today with the exception of making my bed this morning.

Hope everyone had a great mothers day.

I am thankful for so much this year:

1.  I thank God for giving me the life I have, my family, my health and my job.

2.  I thank my sons for being the wonderful young men they have become, they make me proud.

3.  I am thankful for my mother and her good health.  Happy Mother's Day Mom!

4.  I am thankful for this board where I can come for support anytime, day or night
