Good Morning Calif.......

I know you are asking who that mask person is, well its me. I have been getting up early and walking to work, so I have not had the time to stop and type. I am trying to get ready for my 7 mile hike at the Devil'*****h bowl next Saturday. Myself and few friends are going to do the hike and spend the day looking around. It looks like it will be fun and hard all at the same time. I can't wait.

My first time walking to work was Monday, and that night I was a wreck with cramps. DD was threatening to take me to the ER they where that bad. I think I got a bit dehydrated since I was to lazy to take my water and drank two 16 oz bottles. Normally I drink around 100oz a day. So I have been making DD bring me walk and I have been drinking more, so the cramps stopped. OMG they where so bad, I didn't like that at all. Nope WILL NOT go there again.

Today I am driving to work because I need to run to my Aunt Mo's right after work, so I have to type and find out what everyone has been up to. So lets hear it. I work all weekend, but is your weekend plans? How are you going to do mothers day?

Great to see you post Lu, sure did miss you.   Keep up with tha****er, especially with your walking.

Well only one more day at my old job!  All my office is all cleaned out and is at home waiting for Thurs when it will be transported to the new job.  I am SO excited.

This weekend brings some laundry & shopping today with my mother-in-law and tomorrow we will visit my father-in-law in the morning and then we will go over to the city and take the Mom's (Ron's Mom and my Step Mom) to dinner for Mother's Day.

I hope all the Mom's have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend.

Sorry about your cramps.  I have some advice for you on that.  Stop running/walking.  LOL  OK, so that wasn't funny.  But I'm cute, huh????  Maybe not so much???  Love you anyway.

Been a busy week here for me.  My sister wound up in the hospital on Wednesday with severe chest pains.  So I was running back and forth to Pasadena for a couple of days.  They still aren't sure what is wrong with her but are coming up with so many things it's hard to keep track at this point.  Hopefully they will figure out exactly what is going on and can get it all fixed.  On the bright side, she didn't have a heart attack and her heart may not be involved at all.  She has a bunch of other issues though that when all combined just make her a mess. Guess we'll see what happens.

We went to the Improv last night with my son and his girlfriend to see John Pinette.  He was very funny.  Although he was slightly off his game we thought, he was still funny and we enjoyed the show.

No plans for the weekend really.  I MUST vaccum my house today though.  Mike mopped the floors for me the other day, but the carpets are in dire need of becoming one with the vac****o that will certainly be on the agenda.  No plans for Mother's Day as my son has to work and as Mike points out to me every year, I'm not his mother so why should he do anything for me.  He can be such an ass at times.  I'll probably shame him into making me dinner though on Sunday. Of course that will only happen if I go to the store and buy the food and tell him what he is cooking.  Good thing that man makes me laugh.

OK, time to get some coffee at this ridiculous hour of the morning of which I have no idea why I am up.  My plan had been to sleep until at least 9.  Well I made it until 6.  Maybe I thought the 6 looked like a 9.  I'm now thinking I will have a nap in my future.  So don't work too hard today Lu. And everyone enjoy your weekend.

Goodmorning Lu,

I was planning on going to my support group meeting this morning, but as I finally crawled out of bed at 10:15, I figured I wouldn't make it. Oh well, sitting on the couch and lingering over a cup of coffee sounds much better anyway. I still have a hard time sitting for a lenght of time. I do much better if I'm laying down or standing, but finally feeling better. I didn't think hernia surgery would be so uncomfortable. I could just be a total wimp too. LOL. I'm certainly enjoying my time off from work. Not looking forward to going back but I still have 11 days off. Not sure what I have planned for the weekend, beside the usual, house work, grocery store. My parents will be here on Monday, and I can't wait. It will be so great to have company and have someone else cook for me. The last time they visited, the most I did in the kitchen was make coffee. My dad cooked for me. So spoiled and I love it. Well, that is all I know for now. I hope you all have a great weekend.

Eileen, I hope you have a wonderful visit with your parents. Mine drive me crazy!

Today we are going to work on my DH books. That means we will argue some. It can be stressful. If he would do them once a month it would be better but no he has to wait for 5 or 6 months. This time is it 5. He is really a great guy most of the time. Steph, I think being an asshole at times is just in there genes! LOL
