How do you WAIT for Insurance Approval without going crazy

AAAAAGGGGGG, I have been waiting for insurance approval since about April 8th. Good grief, I feel like I am on pins and needles some days. Today I feel sooooo anxious. I will call my doctor office today and try to find out what is going on.

Does anyone have any suggestions for waiting more patiently and not driving myself crazy.

I am a homemaker and going to school part time, so I have a lot of free time on my hands.

Thanks a lot.

Amy, I know it is easier said than done, but just hang in there.  The wait will be worth it.  WLS is an amazing journey!  Keep us posted.

It sure is good C'ING LESS OF ME!

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

Waiting is the hardest part. I can totally relate. I wish I had some advice for you but I don't. We all have to go through it. Like Terry said Hang in there!

Try calling customer service at your insurance.  They can tell you where they are in the process.  They have had 2 weeks to look at it and should be able to tell you something.  Talking to a real person will help you.

Good to meet you at LB Coffee.  Here is to finding our good news this week!

Hi Amy,

It was great to meet you on Saturday.

Since you are a homemaker and in school part time, I guess the only thing I can suggest to get your mind off the waiting would be to:  STUDY, STUDY, STUDY, find a good book to read, or maybe you want to do some further research on the type of surgery you are planning on having.

If you really want to get you mind off the waiting game, my house could use a good cleaning, I have some yard work that needs to be done, and you know, all the typical stuff of life.  LOL

Another thing you may want to try would be to maybe look into some recipes for high protein to have on hand when you are able to start regular food again.

Let us know how things progress.
