Hi Everyone,

I finally got on the scale this morning and yes I gained 1 lb.  But that is better than what I thought because of some bad choices I made.  I was thinking I probably gained 5 lbs.  OMG, that would have thrown me for a big loop with NO ONE TO BLAME BUT MYSELF.

I am working out in the garage with my hubby 3 nights a week and trying to go for a 1 mile walk on the other days.  I'm trying folks.

OK, so for the weekly total including my weight gain we lost a total of 26 lbs.

THIS IS JUST AWSOME!!!!

That's right folks, get up and do your happy dance the only way you know how to do.  We are doing this and the numbers show.

We have some new people that have joined us on WWW and we welcome all of you.  There is no judgement here as we are all on the same path to good health.

Until next week, let's all keep moving and making good food choices.  Congrat's to everyone on a fabulous week of weight loss.

That is great 1 lb instead of 5!

26 lbs is a great weight loss for the week. I am so glad so many people are joining in our our posts again!

Thank you again Annette!

Hi Elizabeth,

I was relieved for the 1 lb.  It is a work in progress and the head tripping, stress, and everything else that comes in to play can really mess with our minds and you know that.  This defenitley is not exactly easy.  For the most part I have been extremely lucky with no problem with ANY foods.  Just the choices I make and my eyes and mind tell me I can eat so much more.  I am taking a 2nd and even 3rd look at what I am putting on my plate  as I know I could eat more, but I have to remind myself that I will stretch my pouch and this is not the route I want to take.

As for so many people joining us on our post, I am glad to see the board pick up again.  Regardless of me having a facebook account along with many, many of our fellow Calif. OH members, here is where I always turn to for the best support amongst my peer as the people on this board know exactly what we are going through and can offer the best advice -vs- general family & friends on facebook.

Keep up the good work, you are looking great.

I know those head games we play with ourselves is the worst! I think this is a battle we will fight for the rest of our lives! I need to add a better variety to my diet. I have had problems with adding new foods and tend to be afraid to do it. I am really getting tired of Dennison's' Turkey Chili! LOL I think you are doing great and your posts are always very helpful. I think that when we still post when we gain that it is helpful to others too. It is reality and we all need to be reminded that this is hard and not a magic bullet.

I used to have a facebook account, but I closed it. I come here too for my support. I really do miss the ones who have stopped posting. I love the fact that we are so supportive of each other regardless of the surgery the person chose to have.

You have a great day!
