Health update

Hey guys
I am just writing to update everyone on what's been going on. I know a couple of people have sent me pm's but I am on my phone and can't respond to them. I just figured out how to post in the forum. Let's see where to begin. I have been in the hospital since the second of april with my stricture issues. I was at kaiser fontana but they agreed to send me back to san diego to see my surgeon. Kaiser basically said there was nothing else they could do for me. I was placed on tpn since my bloodwork registered me as malnourished...not eating for 2 months will do that. I have been dilated a total of 6 times waiting on #7. If the next one doesn't work then I will have to get a revision of the anastomosis either way I have to have surgery. In 2 months I also developed gallstones. What can I say...when I do it I do it right.

Sorry if this makes no sense but I wanted to do an update. Love you all for the continued support I am hanging in there but its hard. And just for the record this is soooooooo not the easy way out. No one better ever tell me that one...lol

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

So sorry you are going through all of this....you need to talk with Linda Murray (Plan2behealthy)...she went through the strictures for over a year and is finally able to eat food.  She was stretched more times than I know and ended up having to have an emergency revision but now is finally doing better.  This is definitely NOT an easy way out...Will keep you in my prayers that the 7th stretch works.  Just hang in there....
