WWW (Wacky Weigh In Wednesday!)
Hi everyone! I can't remember if I got on the scale today or not. I think I did and it said 212.8. Today has not been a good day. I am feeling pretty blue and not sure why. I have had big plans for exercise and getting back in to the pool, but since I have gone back to work, my sleep patterns are all effed up. I was going to bed early, getting up early, had lots of energy during the day. Now I am back at work, and some nights I get 7-8 hours, and some nights I get 3 hours. I can't go swim laps on 3 hours of sleep. I am hungry but nothing sounds appetizing. when I do eat, nothing tastes good. I had to force myself to eat dinner at work tonight (fish, a bit of brown rice, and veggies.) I ate as much as I could, but didn't fini**** At one point I felt like I was regurgitating but it went away. I feel some emotions under the surface that I can't pinpoint. Maybe you all have some insight. I think I am 8 weeks out so far? I have been stuck on the scale for a week with no significant loss, but I know that is partly my fault as I am not exercising, as I have no energy, and I have no energy because I am not sleeping well. Vicious circle. I feel stuck in this rut, this funk and I have to get out of it. I am better than this. I am just tired all of the time. I think I need to hit the protein shakes for awhile. I get some lab work done at the end of the month so maybe that will give some insight. The weather is crappy and refuses to get any nicer. I don't like the cold and am sick of the rain. i just want to be outside in some nice warm weather and take a long walk. or a long swim.
Ok, I'm ranting now but, just wanted to put that out there., Maybe some of you can relate and help me through this crappy time.

Believe it or not what you are feeling is normal. My first concern is are you getting enough protein in. Right now you can not eat enough protein so you need to take in protein shakes, or protein water. Are you taking your vitamins? In addition to B12 I would add a Complex B vitamin. It really does help. It will take some time to get used to working again. You are still healing. I would also stay away from carbs. I still don't eat carbs and it has been 7 1/2 months. Hang in there, you will start losing weight again too. It is like you lose and then stall and then start losing again. You will have days when you feel great and days when you feel like crap! Be sure and post anytime!

I finally broke through and dropped 2 more pounds. I really haven't been eating too much, even though I am hungry. Nothing sounds or looks good. I had to force myself to eat dinner the other night because I knew I needed to eat something. I took a long walk today and felt great. Today is a good day, full of energy. I know these days will come and go. I have stayed away from carbs for the most part. sometimes I will have half a sandwich on whole grain wheat bread but other than that, the only carbs I am getting are from fruits and veggies. I need to start a food journal again, now that I am eating food so I can see where I am going wrong. I tried to drink a protein shake yesterday and I was so nauseous. Either drank too fast or too much but it made me want to puke. I do have protein water but need to get some different flavors.
