Hi Everyone,

This is kind of a late post.  I will be in a seminar tomorrow all day where bkfst. & lunch will be provided.  I have been so busy I completely forgot to prepare for this.

Not sure what will be served, muffins, fruit, finger sand's, cookies and all kinds of stuff that I should not have.  So real quick in my mind I am calculating what can I take?  Hmmmm

Well, I will pack some things  in my cooler like:  yougart, cheese snacks, protein bar, beef stick.  I will be sure to add some muscle milk to my coffee in the AM to boost my protein up as I don't know what they will serve, but there is usually something someone can eat.  I adjust regardless of the situation.

Now, I need to do some careful planning for my trip to New Mexico in June (very rural area) as to what I am going to eat.  Good thing my dad lives in a bigger city where there is supermarkets & a Walmart.  My mom on the other hand lives on Blueberry Hill (LOL), No, i'm not kidding.

Ok, early to bed tonight as I need to be on the road by 7:15 to be at the Seminar by 8 in Anaheim.

Goodnight folks.

How did the seminar go? Did they end up accommodating you  or were you lucky you took your own?

Hi There,

Thanks for asking.  Actually it all turned out very well.  For breakfast, they had all the coffee, tea etc.. To eat it was fresh fruit and all the yummy pastries you could think of.  All I could think of was what a waste of food.  Who is going to eat this.

I ate a protein bar for my breakfast around 9:30.  Before leaving home, I had already had a cup of protein coffee.

Lunch time rolled around and we worked through it.  Very cool for me.  There was ham, turkey, & roast beef cold cuts.  There was also, minestrone soup, bread to make sand's, potatoe, macaroni, green salad & cole slaw.  There was again, more fruit and a bunch of little petit deserts like cheesecake, eclairs, and the only thing besides water to drink at lunch was soda.
I ended up having some turkey and ham, a couple slices of cheese, a few pickle chips and a slice of tomato.  Again, all I could think of was what a waste of food.  Who is going to eat this.

Why you ask do I keep thinking what a waste of food?  Well, there was a total of 75 people registered for the seminar.   Including the 3 people handling the seminar, there was a total of 13 people.  The food was ordered ahead of time.  They presenters called the kitchen about 9:30 to see about changing the amount of food, but it was too late.  48 hrs. notice was necessary to make any adjustments to the food order.  The 3 presenters are all very thin, and very active in the gym.  It's not like they were going home that evening where they could pack up and take to their families.  They were headed to another state to do another seminar on Friday.

All in all, the seminar was fabulous and so very informative.  Food wise, the decisions for me were very easy.  On the way home from the seminar I had a beef stick.  Of course I drank 2 cups of decaf coffee there and 4 large glasses of water.
