Lap Band - Looking for Friends - - Southern CA

My name is Elizabeth. I have been exploring gastric bypass for the last couple of years. I have finally made the decision to proceed. I had been going back and forth between Gastric and Lap Band and I am 90% sure that I have choosen Lap Band. I am in the process of finish the 6 month physician monitored diet.

I am looking for friends that have had success with the Lap Band or that are on hte same journey as me.

Congrat's on finishing up your 6 month diet and the decision to have WLS.  Here in the Cali board you will find many people to support you on your journey regardless of the type of WLS they had.  You will also find many bandsters as well.

Stick around and post or just lurk and post when you feel like.

I considered the lap band, but then decided on the VSG.  Still, we Cali girls have to support each other!!!  Let us know if you need support from your neighbors

Welcome to the CA board. I am not a bandster but a VSG'er ( ooh I can say that now!!!) I am here to offer what support I can. It might not be much but then it also might be everything to you.

I know we got some band people here somewhere. I think they are hiding.

I just moved to Southern Ca from the East Coast 3 weeks ago..I am at the end of my lap band journey and would love to be your 'LB friend"..lol...I had my surgery almost 2 years ago and have been doing great. I have had NO plastic surgery as of yet, that will come in time.

Wow you look fantastic.  what an inspiration!  I am one month out and am down 20lbs post band.
