Good Morning Calif.....

This will be short and sweet, as I need to jump in the shower and start my day off with a meeting, ON MY DAY OFF!!!!

This picture is of the 5k yesterday at Knotts Berry Farm. The girl are from work.  It was both there frist 5k and we had a blasted.  And really that is all that counts. We have already signed up for our next one. I am giving them a few months to get over this walk, as the next one for them is in Nov. LOL but its here in town at the Mission Inn.

Good Morning Lu and California,

What a cute picture.  You all look so happy.  That is just nice to see.

So my 3 day weekend was jam packed and ever so busy but I have a clean house and it is ready for company.  Yes, Luana, my house is looking good.  Can't wait for you to see next week when we have our "girls day".    Anyway, we worked so hard this weekend .  OMG, I'm exhausted.  I'm almost glad to be back at work.  At least I get to sit down at my desk.  LOL

Busy week planned though.  Work and company coming.  But also some days off for fun so that will be nice.  We have some nice day trips planned to show our guests the sites.  This is the first time they have ever been out this way.  Can you imagine.  Mike has lived in CA for almost 20 years and his oldest brother has never been here.  It's going to be so much fun and I really like Mike's sister-in-law Linda.  I can't wait for you to meet her next week, Luana.

OK, time to get some work done here.  I have a sales tax audit for a client tomorrow and they finally just brought me all the paperwork I requested and I need to go through it and make sure I have everything I need.  I hate sales tax audits.  They are some of the worst kinds to have to deal with.  Oh well, just another day of work I suppose.

And on that note, yes, I'm done jabbering.  Hope everyone has a great day.  It's certainly beautiful out weatherwise.

I had a wonderful weekend! Saturday was my granddaughter's birthday party. Sunday was her actual birthday. I can't believe she is 1 now. She was a little shy with all of the people there. She did not like her cupcake at all. She wanted to throw it on the floor. 

Sunday I went with friends to Cathey's Valley and had a scrap booking class. We had fun. I must admit I am not very crafty though. If they did not tell me what to do I would have no clue at all!

Well that is about all that is going on for me. Not much planned for today. I hope everyone has a great day!

I had a great weekend. Went to San Francisco on Friday, and we had a wonderful time. Walked and shopped till we dropped. It was such a beautiful day. I'm sure we will do it again soon. Saturday and yesterday were quiet days. Although I did get the house work done, and some cooking done. I have a gym appointment at 4 today, but not sure what else I am going to do. It is supposed to be nice out again. I might take advantage and go and have a coffee and read a book. I hope you all have a fabulous day!!!!

This weekend was a busy one. Saturday I went out to Huntington Beach to see my former bosses. They hadn't seen me since I was in the wheelchair after I broke my ankle. As soon as she opened the door, she's like 'omg! you skinny minnie!!' And gave me a big hug. Then her hubby came out of his studio (he's an artist), stopped, looked and went 'whoa!! you look amazing!!' and he gave me a big hug. We sat and talked for a couple hours.

Then I was off to Newport Mesa Chur*****osta Mesa to serve at the Kutless concert selling band merchandise. The concert was awesome!! I didn't get to see any of the bands, but they had ome of the doors open so we could listen. the line up was The (M)useum (a new band), Chasen and Kutless. After the concert, we got to meet the bands, have them sign merchandise and take pictures with the bands. The pix are up on my profile under Miscellaneous Pix of Me. Then yesterday I had church abd did a bit of shopping then came home and relaxed the rest of the day.

Great Pic Lu, so glad you had fun.  I had a wonderful weekend, and now it's back to work for me.  Ron had to go have a repeat x-ray so hopefully everything will be fine.  He's been battling bronchitis.

Not much else new in my world.  Just living life and looking forward to our Nor Cal luncheon this weekend.
