Good Sunday Morning One and All

Good Morning calif. What a great day we have starting here. A bit cool, but not to bad.  Can't tell if there are clouds out there or not, but doesn't feel like rain.

Gosh DD is home and I am back to not sleeping. UGH!!! The only good thing is now I know its her and her tv on until 2 AM. I had a little talk with her about it last night, but she didn't seem to understand. SHE is keeping me awake.

Barb.........how have support group? Do you and Eileen go to the same support group? Did you have fun with the "moms" shopping? And what did you get me??

Elizabeth.......You may not be ready for a marathon yet, but with the right Coach Scott Training, you to can be come a marathoner. LOL You are right, tis the number one rules of grandparent. Spoil the grandkids, and send them home. LOL. Enjoy your time with the family.

Eileen.........Sorry you are not feeling all that great. Very sorry to hear that, and do hope you are feeling better today. Sometimes you just need a Veggie day. I sure could use one today, but duty calls. As for the 12 vs 8, have done them both, and would LOVE to have my 8s back. I was able to do so much more. After 12 hours, I am DONE! no gym for me.

Steph......ok for I X'd out the 27th and will not make any plans, I have never been to Solvang, so that would be great with me. Or anything that Linda picks. Just spending time with the girls would be great fun.  Awww poor Minky. He has two weeks of getting over loved, and spoiled, he will not want to go outside ever agian. I need to take the kids on tuesday, now that DD is home and able to help.

Ok time for COFFEE and shower. Yap, at the same time. LOL

I don't get to stop by as much as I would like.  Work has been extremely busy especially with the loom of 5 furlough days.  I have been staying for every extra meeting that I can get paid for.  If this goes through on tuesday then we will lose 2 days pay on our next check.  I hope California gets it together soon. 

Anyhoo Jordyn and I are well so in the scheme of things I won't complain just get it done.

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

Yes, Eileen, Tami, Lee, Bonnie and April were all in Support Group yesterday.  I thought it was a good one, but they usually are and I certainly get re-energized after them so that's a good thing.

Shopping was SO much fun with the "Moms" it usually is.  I did get some new t-shirts at WalMart for the summer and my vitamins there and that was about the extent of my shopping.  I did food shopping at Costco and Safeway too.  Come on up for dinner!  LOL

Today I will be taking my step Mom home to San Francisco and my mother-in-law will probably join me and we'll stop for lunch at our favorite place in Marin on the way.

Well I best giddy up and go start laundry and the day.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day and remember to do something nice for just you.

Good Saturday morning everyone! It is overcast, windy, and cold here in Merced. It is supposed to rain all day. I have a birthday party for my friend's son today. He is 6 now. With the rain it means everyone will be inside. (YUCK)

Lu, your sister can get ear phones for her TV. Will she wear them. I hate having the TV on when I am trying to sleep too! Oh, who or what is Coach Scott Training? What do you do at the hospital? I could not work 12 hours either. When I worked (I was a mailman) I was exhausted after 8 hours.

Solvang is really fun. I haven't been in many, many years. You should stop by Santa Barbara while you are there. It is beautiful. I haven't been there in years either.

Taking it easy today.  Did not get much sleep last night.  I might have been all slept out from the last week.  Anyway things are good here in Mexico.

I called in sick today. I actually feel a bit better then I did last night. I pretty much just laid around yesterday. Now I have a wonderful cough and am no longer stuffy. I plan on doing nothing again today, but resting. I work tomorrow, and I really need to work. I am having surgery in a few weeks, and will be out for about 3 weeks from work, and I need all the time I can get to supplement disability. Oh well, what can ya do. Not much else going on around here. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

Hi LU and Cali Peeps,

Well it is very overcast here in Lakewood.  We did have a bit of drizzle for a moment but then it went away.  I was supposed to BBQ last Sunday but since we did a brunch and the kids had work we did not.  So, today I plan on making my BBQ ribs rain, or no rain.  My biggest challenge to date since WLS will be making potatoe salad.  I have never made potatoe salad for 3 people / servings.  Hmmmm  this will be quite the challenge.  My potatoe salad is usually big enough to take to a summer family picnic.

Yesterday my hubby and I did our grocery shopping, had a great lunch at Fridays and he even joined me at ULTA where I had a 20% coupon for make-up.  I love the BENEFIT line but it is so expensive and I can't use a Macy's coupon for make-up.  They always have some sort of small print stipulations.  Ugggh.  So anyway, I bought a few things I needed and it was $160 but with my coupon it came out to $130.  

After our running around I came home and gave my house a good cleaning.  Today all I had to do was the bathroom and mop the floors.  DONE and my house smells like Pine-sol.  I LOVE IT.

Today my hubby is finally getting around to hanging up the speakers from the surround sound.  We have only had it since Christmas.  LOL

Well, I need to go make potatoe salad, cut up some watermelon and pineapple.  After that I need to get my pictures together and my BIO to sent to Katt for the OH Fashion Show.

BTW - If you get the OH Magazine, in the May / June issue I will be in an article.  I was approached by one of the Editors that is doing an article for support/encouragement.  I thought how cool.  I also mentioned to her that she should keep an eye on the Cali boards as the Nor Cal Lunch group and So Cal Coffee group are always up to something and support for many things besides WLS.  So, keep you eye out for the article in the OH Magazine.

Hey Lu and California,

Kewl..we are good for the 27th.  My poor Minky will have to go back to the vet tomorrow I'm afraid.  He is just not letting us flush his drain out.  Both Mike and I are both now covered in scratches.  So Mike will take him to the vet tomorrow and they will have to do it and then keep him there until Wednesday when the drain comes out.  He also managed to get his little neck framer thingy off and we can't even find him now to get it back on him. So it's a trip to the Vet for him tomorrow.  He's got to eventually come out to eat.

Spent most of the day cleaning, but still have much to do before the company comes.  It seems like this will never get done.  But I have next weekend to fini**** all up and so I will.  Friday, which I have off from work because it is our end of tax season day off will also be spent cleaning, but I do have to head over to Orange County later in the day to celebrate my son's birthday.  His birthday is actually Tuesday, but his working and my working, we are putting off the celebration until Friday.  Not much to do really, just will take him out to eat at his choice of restaurant.  Hard to believe my little baby is going to be 26.  I still can't believe I have a 26 year old son.  Whew, how the hell did that happen.

Just actually finished taking a break, shame on me.  But I was cleaned out for the moment.  Watched Julie & Julia.  I've been reading the book so I decided to watch the movie.  I'm almost done with the book and now I can't wait to fini****  As usual the book was better then the movie, although the movie was quite cute.

OK, time to get busy here again.  Hope everyone has had a great day and weekend.  Back to the old grind tomorrow.
