Top of the Morning Calif

Yap its still morning, just a bit later then normal. LOL I felt the need to sleep in, and dang did that feel good. LOL

OK so at work yesterday, there lots going on. Our charge nurse was moved to a new unit and they left us with a someone that is not a good leader. Man, my head was killing me and by 4 o'clock I was thinking of running away. I stay and made it till shift end. So that is why I slept in this morning.

DD comes home tonight, I pick her up at 8:30. I will be good to have her home and yet, I will miss my alone time. I know the kids will be happy she is home, I don't think they like being home alone.

Elizabeth........So did you get your GrandBaby Fix yesterday? Can you make it a few more days? IF you spent longer with your friend, that means that you are had lots of catching up on. Not a bad thing, just a fun thing.

MsBlue............I under stand of not worry about things right now, just let them happen and deal with them one at time and as they come. I hope that the news will stay a hopful for your mom, and you whole family. You will find support here if you when you need it.

Annette.........OMG I love them robin eggs also. I LOVE THEM!! But since I would alone this easter, there was no candy in the house. A good thing for sure. I am walking a 5k with some friends on April 18th at Knotts berry farm. If you want to walk with us I would be happy to have you. (clink the link below) Also, I would had a problem with my scale, turned out something was under it. Might want to check that.

Puddin..............so did you get out and run this morning? I find that If I wait until after work, I wont do it either. I just to popped out. So I understand the have to do it in the AM.

Gus...........Do I understand that statement about being farther out, the harder it gets. Just keeping taking one day at time. In the end, we found day light. lol

OK time to get my day started, I need to go to Walmart and get some ink for my printer.

I got my grandbaby fix yesterday. I am going to try and go see them tomorrow for a short visit. My grandson was so funny. My husband took our ladder over so Chris could change some light blubs. Well Ryan goes running in his play room looking for his hammer. He could not it but came back in and told us he had work to do and tried to climb the ladder. Of course we told him to get off the ladder. He wanted to help his daddy so bad.

Today I have to go to Dress Barn in A****er and pay my bill. I promised  my husband I would not buy anything today. That is going to be hard! I love that store.

Lu, your shout outs are great! Thanks for thinking of me.

Today my mom has a CT scan and we'll know more. I think we'll have the results by the end of today. We shall see. I am not predicting anything and feel prepared for whatever the result is.

I have a boat load of family coming into town starting today. My house is not ready for the 4 people I am expecting. I am so use to getting my house and car in perfect condition when people visit, and it's usually the standard my family expects from each other, but I just can't do it this time and stay sane. All I can do is my best while making sure I am taking care of myself too.

I hope you're all enjoying the sun. I wish I was outside in it right now.

Ah, I'm poking my head in once again! 

I went skiing yesterday.  It was absolutely georgeous!!!  The sun shining, perfect snow.  One thing -- I forgot the *&$(&%($&8 sunscreen.  I have a massive sunburn all over my face and neck and even behind my ears thanks to the ponytail.  Ugh.  Keeping the Aloe Vera slathered on and tonight putting on a mask of noxzema.  What a knothead...........

Live and learn.  The 30spf is now once again in my purse.  I keep a thingy on my keychain that has 2 applications of face screen.  I keep it filled up all the time.

Going for a motorcycle ride this afternoon.  Other than that, hanging in and counting the days until Joe's surgery.  He'll be down for 3 months.  Torn rotator cuff.

Not morning anymore, but just wanted to say hello to you my little friend.  Busy Busy Busy at work.  Winding down here.  One more week to go until the happiest day of the year.  April 15th...come on baby.

Got to get back to work, just wanted to say hi.  Miss you lots. Be careful going to pick up DD tonight. We need to plan something fun to do now that my time will be my own again.  Well sort of my own.  We will have house guests starting on the 20th for 10 days.  Mike's brother and sister-in-law are coming for their first visit ever to Mike in CA.  I'm not sure who's more excited...him or his brother. They have lots of fun things planned to do while I will be entertaining Linda.  For her, after nearly 30 years of marriage, she's at the stage where a day away from Bob is vacation enough.  LOL  She's so funny.
