Hey there guys...It's Tuesday and can you believe I woke up this morning at 5am and got to the gym by 5:45am?  I can't!!!

I completed a full cardio workout and did weights on three body parts.  I hope ya'll get some exercise today.  So what have you done or plan to accomplish?  Please share....

Good for you, Gus.  I plan on running for 30 minutes this evening.
Without struggle, there is no progress.

Good for you... 30 minutes is a great start.  In fact, I've read a few articles and it's mentioned that during the first 30-40 minutes of exercise is when one burns fat.  Especially if you do interval cardio.

I've been moving more and joined a softball team, but last Friday, I go to pick up something I dropped on one knee, and in my thigh it feels like I ripped something and pain shoots through my body. I applied ice for the next 48 hours and limped through the day. I still have pain today, but it's much better. I still have to rest it, but I hope it gets better soon. I think I need to stretch my quads more often. They were really tight before this happened.

I have never felt such a strange sensation before OUCH!

Ms. Blues,

Remember not to stretch "cold" muscles.  If you want to stretch prior to a game, jog in place (or something like that) to get the muscles warm and pliable and then stretch.  Be sure to stretch after exercise.

Well...it's been 8 weeks since I broke my toe....I finally started walking again.  I walked a mile in the morning and a mile in the afternoon, plus I took 7 flights of stairs .....twice.  Woot Woot!

It is Wednesday now.  We bought an exercise bike and I have been doing 10 min daily and will build up to more. Walking hurts my hip and knee but the bike seems okay.  Hooray for me.
