Good  Morning Calif......

I can not beleave its 8:30 and there is no morning post. I have been up for hours but this is the first time I have opened my computer.

So I had a very easy going weekend, one that I truly needed. LOL

DD comes home on Thrusday, Its so hard to beleave that two weeks have gone by so fast. I know the "kids" will be happy to have here back and I have missed her also, but love the alone time that came with her be gone. LOL

So today I have to take all the "kids" to the vet, so this should be lots of fun. NOT! But the good news is, this will make it easier for me next year, because now they will have all to have there shots due at the same time. Of course next year, DD will be around to help. LOL

OK tis time to start moving and get the kids ready for thier big outing.

I wish you all a great day. Be strong!

Good Morning All,

Friday, I got some bad news confirming what I already knew... I have gained a significant amount of weight in the last 6 months (16 lbs.).  My doctor is really concerned.  I know it's my diet... it has to get cleaned up.  So starting this week, I am going grocery shopping and  start back running again.
I cannot go back to where I used to be.  I always have to remember..."If you did what you have always done, then you will get what you  always got."

Saturday, I went to Alamitos Bay Yarn Co. and found out that not only was my yarn gauge was too tight but I had also made the wrong size (too small).   Needless to say, I was devastated.  So Sunday morning I ripped to whole thing out.  I  casted on with a larger needle and has re-started.  I will have to buy more yarn to boot.  This is my most expensive project to date.  Good gracious!!!

Sunday, I attended Sunrise Service at a local church and had breakfast after wards, which was very nice.  When  I came home, I baked the apple pie but I did not have a chance to let it cool because I had to get to Dee Dee's house so we could all leave to go to Perris (for dinner).  There was so much good food!  Kudos to my cousin Sheila.  She cooked her behind off (and she don't cook regularly).  Everything was delicious.   I packed a couple of plates to go.  That will last me 2-3 days.
Without struggle, there is no progress.

We had a great day yesterday. Lisa, my DIL, cooked lunner. It was really good, of course I only had some ham. We had a fun with the kids. Lisa's parents were there too, it was nice to see them.

Not much is going on here today. I am relieved to see the sunshine today. The rain was nice but I am getting to the point I really need sunshine.

Well I hope everyone has a great day today!
