At frist I was thinking today was Wednesday, and had a nice post started, then the news guy said something about it Tuesday. Ohhhh Dang!! So I have to start over...


So I have joined the Coaster Run at Knotts Berry Farm. Its a fun raiser thing, which I hate, because I don't like asking for money. Right now times are very tight, but if you are able to donate a few dollars, you can write it off on your taxes and I really think its for a good cause. Today is my day off, but one of the girls wanted to day off, so I am going to replace her, and get some over time also. But as I look around my house, I wish I had not agreed to this. Dang its a mess.

So how did monday treat you? Mine was not that bad. Just enough going on, that it kept the day moving forward. You know? Time didn't dang by

Good Morning Lu,

Happy Tuesday.  It started to rain over night and supposed to increse just in time for my commute to and from work, oh joy!  Oh well, we do need the rain and my plants outside sure will benefit.

Yesterday was a good one for me, busy with meetings all day.  Today should be a little quieter and I might be able to get rid of some of the things on my desk that have been waiting for my attention.

Looks like I will get to attend a Legislature event on Workers' Compensation next week in Sacramento so that ought to be interesting and fun. 

That's about all thats new in my world.  Hope everyone has a great day today.

Not much planned for today. I was supposed to be with my grandkids today but my son needed to trade days with me. He will have them today and I will have them Friday. He has to go to court on Friday. That is part of being a cop. Well that is about it. I hope everyone has a great day.

Just another day of work for me.  But that is better then not having a job to go to at all so I suppose I'll not complain today.  Yearite.  Me, not complain.  That's not happening anytime soon.

Anyway, got all the new furniture into the bedroom last night and it looks so amazing.  I just love it even more then I did when we bought it.  Mike worked so hard last night getting it all in there.  Only thing left to do in that room now is to hang the new drapes, which he will do today.  Then I just need to hang pictures and accesorize and the master bedroom is done.  I'll refix the guest room as well and get all the new bedding on and  both of those rooms are finished.  Next it is on to the living room, den and kitchen. Not too much to do in the den really.  We have our jacuzzi in there so it just really needs some cleaning up at this point and Mike wants to bring in his big screen TV that he picked up at an auction about a year ago.  The den is just our jacuzzi/treadmill/elyptical room.  I'm not going to bother with the third bedroom right now, which we use as an office.  I'll just close the door to that room and pretend it doesn't exist for right now.  I can't believe I'm actually going to finally have a house that I will be so happy to invite people to.  It's really starting to look great.  Still need to work on the outside of the house, but honestly, that is just not my "thing".  I don't mind planting a flower or two, but landscaping as a whole just is not thrilling for me.  So I'll leave that completely up to Mike which basically means, nothing will be done.  LOL

OK, time to get busy here.  Work is awaiting as is my next cup of coffee.  Hope everyone has a great day.
