*Update* OT-- thank you everybody for your wonderful thoughts and prayers.

This is just an update letting you know that I really appreciated all your thoughts and prayers. As many of you are aware, my 45 year old cousin suffered a massive heart attack, about 3 weeks ago. He was on life support and in a coma. His brain was 90% gone. The doctors said, when they took him off life support, he would have another heart attack and pass. The family antagonized over such a decision. Finally it was made, they took him off life support. But to the astonishment of all, he didn't have another heart attack. His vitals were good. They moved him from CCU to a regular coma room. He hung in there, for over a week and a half.
This morning, we got the call. My cousin, David Ruiz, went into the arms of our Lord at 1:31am. Thing is lately, I have been having trouble sleeping lately with nightmares and all. I was awake at that time and fell into a peaceful sleep about 1:45am.
The anniversary of my dad's passing was Saturday night, that was hard. I just want to thank everyone who kept my family in your thoughts and/or prayers. You all are a wonderful group of people and I really don't know what I would do without your support.
I know I have many of you on my facebook page, but I also wanted to tell the ones that don't have a facebook, as well.
Hug your loved ones today, call the loved one that you have put off on calling, say you love them one more time, and cherish the treasure you have of each other.

UPDATE 3/31/2010
My cousin's viewing is going to be Monday, April 5th (the day after Easter), with the funeral on Tuesday. This is going to be really hard on my family and I. My immediate family have been estranged from my dad's family for roughly 11 years. When my dad passed, they accused us of "killing him". He passed at home from cancer, caused by Agent Orange used in Vietnam during the war. We have talked to some, but this is going to be a very stressful few days. I am asking please continue to send good thoughts and prayers our way. We just want an end to the division of family and the pain that continues to haunt all of us. Thank you and I have the most admiration and love and support for all of you.
