United Health Care and the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy

Hello potential patients and their loved ones,
Just wanted to give you all an update with United Health Care. Since I became a provider this year when they started approving the sleeve, we have had outstanding success in getting patients authorized. It's been great.

Hi Doctor,  do you have any idea when Anthem Blue Cross of California will start approving the sleeve? still being told its considered investigational/experimental,  very frustrating.

I agree, it is very frustrating. Our insurance office speaks with Anthem regularly and we haven't heard anything about when the sleeve will be approved.
