~~Daily Thanksgiving~~
Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with them.

Good morning Barb and the rest of the grateful ones!
Today I am thankful that:
I have a surgery date (even if it ends up being delayed by cardiac clearance) and my insurance has approved me!
For a supportive family who understands I want/need to achieve health and wellness.
For faith that sustains me with the everyday and the extraordinary challenges of life.
Have a great week-end!

Cristi,
I too had to have a cardio clearance, I was super nervous about it as my Mom had chronic heart disease from smoking (but I never had smoked). The cardiologist ended up ordering a nuclear stress test, where I got onto a treadmill and they injected stuff into an IV. Well I am asthmatic and I probably could have gone longer physically but my asthma decided enough was enough and I had to stop because I couldn't breathe. Strangely enough, the cardiologist when I met with him after the test results came back, said I had a heart of a very young woman, and decided I didn't need to take the meds he thought he was going to have to put me on prior to the test and I was cleared for surgery. So, fear not, it may be a good experience and things won't be delayed. We're with you ALL the way!
Hugs,
Barb
