Welcome to the wonderful Thrusday Morning........

WOW! I woke up early and took the kids for a walk. Talk about a great morning. Just a very slight chill to the air, but clean and fresh. The kids loved getting out and running a muck.

Speaking of kids. DD now has two dogs. Lisa found her another wonderful little girl. This one is small like Frankie, maybe 5 pounds and she is black Marle in color. DD other dog is missing her ears. This one is missing her tail because she was for breeding only. She is a total lover and gets along great with all the other kids.

Nothing much going on with me. I went to friends house yesterday and help her and her husband paint there new house and now my thumb is so swallen and sore, today at work is going to be FUN! I see the doc on monday and I can waiting. This is really beging to suck. As I told a friend, trying your day with out useing your thumb. Its not fun.

OK time for a shower and to start my day. I wish you all a wonderful day. Be happy and smile.

Morning Lu and Cali gang

Another gorgeous day on tap for today...sun is blinding me as it pours thru my window this morning ^_^

Have a quicky seminar to go to at 11am...an overview of an upgrade to our database software...gonna try to find what is in the upgrade and whether or not we need it.

Took the scooter out last nite to gas it up to be ready for this weekend..riding it over to Concord to attend No Cal luncheon...please please no wind or chill factor!  LOL

Discovered yesterday just how much Lon is my soul mate; without him saying a word...I knew what he was thinking about how I now fit on the seat of my scooter.  I don't 'hang over the side' anymore!  His only beginning comment was: I probably shouldn't say anything'....and I finished the sentence for him...'my arse doesn't hang off the sides anymore'  We both got a good laugh..one because I knew what he was thinking...and 2...because I don't hang!! LOL

Other than my meeting, nothing much on tap today...just more rountine work and a quiet evening at home.  And, of course, plowing, planting, gifting and buying in Farmville!  sheesh, that game is really addictive ;-)

Have a great day Cali!  Spring is here!!!!

I am so jealous, you have the sun shinning in on you. The unit I'm working in doesn't have much in the way of windows. My patients room does have one, but I get a great view of the side of the building and not much sun. I guess it will have to wait till I am off on Saturday.

I have another fun day with my grandkids. They are finally feeling better. Hopefully the sunshine will dry up these colds.

Yesterday I had so much fun. My Red Hat Ladies group had a St. Patrick's Day Party in Manteca at a place called Kelley Brothers Brewery. We had so much fun. They even had a bag pipe player walking around the resturant. I had a wow moment. Our party was up stairs and I walked up a flight of stais without being winded and feeling like my heart was going to explode! A lot of the ladies took my picture because my costume. I will post a picture. The bag pipe player told me, "You are supposed to wear a pink hat because you are not 50 yet." I told him I was 51 and then told him I had recently lost 87 lbs. He was impressed. (Or at least acted that way!) Any way it  made me feel great. I won a door prize too. That was fun.

Well I hope everyone has a great day. It is time to go to youtube for my grandson.

Hi Elizabeth,

Sounds like you had a grand time yesterday, with friends, a "wow" moment, and being flirted with! And that bag piper should be impressed, because you have done a fabulous job in less than a year!! Yay!! I am so looking forward to seeing that picture of you in your costume. I have been to Kelley Brothers Brewery before, its an awesome place. Enjoy your grandkids today!
Huge hugs to you!

It is a really nice place and the food was good. I just had them bring me the ham and turkey and boiled eggs that would go on top of a Cobb salad and I ate a little. The meat was really good. I teased my girlfriend that I was going to bring that bag piper home with me, but darn it my husband was home and would not appreciate it! LOL The place was pretty full with other people eating there and another small party. It is a small world that we have both been there and you live in So. CA.

Is it still on Yosemite in Manteca. 2 story white building? Very quaint? Thats the one I have been to. Is that where you were? My husband used to be a truck driver, we used to travel all over the U.S. and Canada. We spent quite a bit of time in the northern part of Cali.
Phooey, for not being able to bring home the bag piper! Lol, oh well. I love to have a cobb salad too, with very little lettuce.
