KAISER LAPBAND PATIENTS

Pacific Bariatric seems to be the only place that Kaiser SoCal is contracted for fills.  There are in SanDiego which is about 2.5 hours away from me.  Does any one have any insight on this place?  Have you been there? What was your experience?

My Kaiser classes only did lap band in Harbor city (Torrance)
And that our Kaiser (Baldwin Park) only contracted to PB for RnY


But a lot of our RnY's have been there, they will chime in soon.

I had gastric bypass through Pacific so  I am not sure about Lap band fills but I would call them since they do followup clinics in several places in southern california. They might do fills at these clinics but you would have to call and see. All of the office staff is really nice and I am sure they could answer your questions. Hope you find your answer :)

Take it from a previous Kaiser Member Service Employee... if you do not like the answer they give you call the Member Services number and file a grievance requesting that a closer doctor/location should be assigned to you. They will work with you then. =)

I am glad I ran into this thread. I am with Kaiser and my dietician and coordinator are at Torrance.  Does Kaiser offer the DS?  I am calling tomorrow to hopefully schedule a fill but am seriously thinking of getting a revision.

I am having my RNY there on Friday, will see if I can find out about their fills.  They said I could do my post op at the Seminar in Riverside.  Maybe they do fills there also.
