Good Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1.  Celebrating my friend Nancy's 1 year surgiversary.  Whoo hoo, you've done an amazing job!

2.  How WLS surgery has changed and transformed my own life.  I have learned so much over the past year.

3.  For the wonderful friends I've made on OH, what a journey we get to share together.

Morning 'ANGEL':  What a wonderful quote!  And what a wonderful 'journey' this has been for me personally...I feel you are 'talking' to me directly with this one today ^_^

You bring tears to my eyes; what a super special friend you have become over these past 12 months!  Thank YOU for remembering me on my special day ^_^

Today I am Thankful for:

My RNY!!  I never imagined it would have the effect on my life that it has...all for the better!

My adorable DH...I think he is more excited about my transformation than I am... he loved me fat, he loves me thinner..most of all, he loves the 'inner' me.  Takes my breath away ;-)

My personal saviour, Jesus.  He has blessed me so many times over...great husband, great family, great friends..a beautiful and wonderful life!

Another great quote Barb!!! No truer words were ever spoken.  At one point before surgery when I got my surgery date it was commented to me about seeing the light at the end of the tunnel but I knew it was only the beginning of a lifetime journey.  Well I'm a 10 mos. post surgery, down 113 lbs. and its been a wild ride... I'm just now starting to feel a bit more comfortable with myself and all the rapid changes and I'm even getting my groove back! I have 97 lbs still to go but am confident I will get there eventually!  Especially with all the wonderful support Ive received here from so many, a handful of which have become close friends... and exercise, Zumba and dancing have helped me so much to feel centered and balanced in my shrinking body and it has helped my mind too especially in those times when I start to freak-out about the little stuff.  So I'm thankful for ALL of that.  The good the bad, the wonderful the tears, the triumphs and freakouts, and the 6 tops that hit the giveaway pile just this morning.. Its all led me to right this very second!!!  Love & Hugs,

1. A good meeting with my endo (diabetes doc). I am on the right track health wise

2. Cancelling a meeting I really didn't want to attend

3. Having a loving husband

I agree another wonderful quote, in fact I took the quote of the day off of my start page that OH puts out every day because they were so stupid and now I just enjoy yours!
