Anyone have Facey?

Hi! I"m very new to this board and the whole WLS process. I have Facey as my medical provider and have met with my PCP. He told me the surgery will be covered as long as I attend 6 months worth of classes. I'm scheduled for the classes but I'm wondering what happens after the classes? Does anyone have any experience with Facey?

I don't know anything about Facey, but the 6 months worth of classes is pretty normal for most insurances. Usually after the classes they will schedule your surgery. You will probably learn a lot of stuff at the classes. I did not have to attend any because I went to Jenny Craig for two years before my surgery, even with that I yo-yo-ed. That is why I had the surgery I had to have something that put an end to all of it. Good Luck!

Wow, I rarely come to this forum and now today I did for the first time in months and able to help you.

Yes, I go to Facey and had my RNY (gastric bypass) through Facey 2.5 years ago. I attended the 6 month classes which were excellent. I still attend Facey support group meeting about once/month (they have them 2 x monthly).
