1.  A chance to see where our nations history began, so many sites I've read about.

2.  That the weather cooperated during this trip and I didn't have to drive in the snow.

Today I am Thankful for:

Seeing the brigh sunshine this morning...still chilly but clear blue skies above

Being reminded each and every morning just how much I am loved

Having a job that I enjoy coming to ever day...some just have jobs, so sad

Hope everyone is ready for Spring...weatherman says we'll be in the 70's next week! Yea!!!!

Hi folks, I don't post much but I do check in often to see how some of my old friends on this board are doing. I just got back from my six month post surgery appointment. I am so thankful for my surgery and it's wonderful results and the great way that I feel.
I am thankful that at 6 months out:
I have lost 80 pounds
No blood pressure medications (was taking three differ ant kinds)
No hyper cholesterol medication
No pain medications for joint and nerve pain. Although when I need it, for my my now mild arthritis,     I can take any that I like including Ibuprofen.
No more oral medications or insulin, as my diabetes is nearly resolved. Kidney failure is reversed. Check out my before and after photos on my profile. I am so looking forward to a bright future and I am still losing weight.

I am thankful for my friends and family. I am thankful to not have diabetes anymore.  I am so thankful to be able to shop in normal clothing stores.  I am also very thankful that I have job to go to everyday.
