Happy Friday to everyone......

Normally I would be happy about this Friday, because I would be off tomorrow, but I have already agreed to work. Maybe they will call me off...:-D

It dry outside and I hope it stays that way. Yesterday it never did rain, but it was bone cold to me.

Yesterday at work, this girl shows up and says I am working with you for a while, I am from the main campus. Train me. HUH???? What??? Who sent you and who told you I would be training you, what is your title. Seem she is on lite duty so the main campus sent her to us. Until she is off lite duty. OK!! What ever. She is smart and knows most of the work already. But we work twice as hard at my build then they do at main campus only because we have to do everyone TWICE. Once for the hospital and once Mental Health. It make for one busy person. Let see how she likes it. I don't think she will have a hard time picking it up, so it might not be a big deal, just more...

OK so what are you plans for the weekend?? Anyone doing anything fun? New? or just staying home and doing NOTHING!!!

I wish you all a great day. Stay safe!! Stay Smart.

Love to all

Good Morning Lu and Cali Friends,

TGIF for sure.  Well, tonight I play in a concert and I will be happy once that is over because the music is not my favorite.  Next week, we'll get new music and I am hopeful it will be more touching for me.

Yesterday I managed to get some files gone through and labeled, which I haven't been able to do in 6 months and I can now find things.  The biggest reason is because I will be gone next week, and if someone is looking for something, they will be able to put their fingers on it.

So Sunday I leave for Boston at the crack of dawn.  I will bring my laptop with me so I can keep in touch.  I've never been to Boston and my co-worker (who I really like) and I will have a car, so we plan on doing a little siteseeing in the evenings after training.  The only drawback, it will be colder there, UGH.

Well, whatever you do this weekend, I hope you have a wonderful time.  Remember to do something nice just for you because you deserve it.

Hugs,
Barb

Good morning "my" Lu and California,

Been at work already for about an hour and decided to pop on and see what is up here.  I am freezing cold today.  Just can't seem to warm up.  I know that will pass though and by the afternoon my office will be like a furnace and the fan then gets turned on.  Drives me crazy.

Anyway, so working today until about 4PM and then Mike and I are off to see Alice in Wonderland.  I'm so excited.  I've been looking forward to this movie for, well forever. We'll grab some dinner after and then home to relax.  Tomorrow brings work of course and then I have a hair appointment in the afternoon.  Time for those roots of mine to take a hike.  Sunday brings a visit with some friends and then the weekend is over.

So that is it for me.  Now I guess it's time to get another cup of coffee and get back to work.  Hope everyone has the best weekend there is.  Make it something special.  Have fun and stay safe.

I don't have much planned for this weekend. Actually nothing is planned. I may go to Fresno with my husband this afternoon. He doesn't know that yet. My housekeepers were supposed to come and clean to day but her daughter is going to the hospital and they may induce labor today. I hope everything goes well for her. I will probably clean out a closet in the hall. It has so much junk in it. Does anyone want some junk from my house to put in yours? LOL

Well I hope everyone has a great day. It is beautiful and sunny here. We are expecting more rain for the weekend.

Hey Cali,

So far, my day has been really nice.

I got up this morning at 3:30 am and left the house at 4:30 am to see a live broadcast of The Steve Harvey Morning Show.  Steve and his crew: Nephew Tommy, Carla and Shirley were all so funny.  I got to the mall at around 5 am.  Had a close seat to all of the action too.

This weekend, I have a 16 mile run to do; this will be my longest run yet prior to the marathon.  The week after-wards, I will do an eight mile run.    I think I will run from my house to my cousin's house and back.   That is about 8.3 miles one way.  I have to get my mind right for that one.

On Saturday, I am going to an orientation for a running group called Alpha Running at Griffith Park at 7 am.  Then, from there I will be going to an orientation for the HerShe Foundation.  This is a mentoring group for young girls who will be transitioning out of foster care and into college.  I hold this dear to my heart because this was me.  I was in the foster care system twice during my childhood.  If I am able to help someone in the same situation that I was in, I would love to help out!  While I am in the neighborhood, I will drop off my donations for Knit For The Cure.  I will hopefully be  dropping off 2 pairs of pink, wool fingerless gloves to Needlepoint West in Westchester (one pair is already completed).  Then I have something else planned but I cannot remember.  I have to hit the sack on that day .

Do you think I have enough to do?

Lu, hopefully everything will work out with the new temp employee.

More Love & Peace,

Kimmie

I have an idea.....
Saturday morning, instead of going to the Alpha Running.....you should go to Griffith Park and do the first 3 mile run for the San Francisco Marathon with APLA!!!!!!!  :-D

Neither do I....and neither does anyone else.  But it's worth it because the program WORKS and you will be trained much better than you would be on your own.
