Nathalie is 2 and 1/2 weeks post-op. She has run into some rouble. She was told by her surgeon , Dr. Taller, to introduce soft foods into her diet. She cannot keep anything down. Everything makes her sick, even water. This has been happening all weekend. Her intake od water was only about 10-13 ounces for the day, but she would throw up 15-20 ounces. Last night the surgeon on duty, told her to come back down to San Diego, he was admitting her back into the hospital for at least a couple of days. She asked me to please post on her behalf and ask for good thoughts, prayers, good whishes, shaken chicken bones. She is supposed to call me later, once she finds out what is going on.
Thank you all in advance for all your thoughts and prayers
Hige hugs,
Michelle

UPDATE
Nathalie just told me that she just saw Dr. Taller. He is scheduling her for a scope in the morning. He said if is a stricture, they will just widen the opening with a balloon type device. Continue to keep her in your thoughts that hopefully this is resolved by tomorrow. I passed on all your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Nat was very happy to hear from all of you. She said to ell everyone-- Thank you!!

Hope she gets better soon.

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty,
some are dull, some have weird names,
& all are different colors....but they

ALL exist very nicely in the same box.

I certainly know how that feels and it is not fun. I was a little farther out, already on soft foods and the vomiting started. It lasted all day, all evening and into the night. I didn't have a stricture, but I did have a site infection that was already being treated.

Whatever her condition, we all wish her well and a speedy solution to this issue. Come back home soon dear Nathalie.
