Good Morning Calif.....

Its raining, its pouring, this old lady ain't snoring...I am up early this morning, I was going to go for a run. But DANG!! its raining hard right now.

Well, I have not been able to come and type much, cause of this thumb. But its doing much better with every day. And I have learned to not move my thumb and then I can take the thingy off and try tpying something that everyone will understand. lol.

I booked a trip for DD yesterday, she is going to go and spend 2 weeks with my sister in Idaho. So I get a break. We had to be a OK from all of her doctors for this. And now I wonder if the wire that is holding her rib cage together is going to make it past the check points. UGH! I can not aford to send her, but the break is going to be worth the tons of over time I will have to work to make this work.

The Santa Anita Derby is coming to a race track near you soon. (April 3) One day before Easter and one day before my 20 year mark at work, and before my other sister birthday. WOW April 4th is busy this year. So who is going to run the derby this year? I am sure going to try. If nothing else, I will work it. I don't go back to see the doctor until March 22 with my ankle, so I will see what he says.

Lu. so glad to hear your thumb is getting better, that's no fun for sure.

Well this morning I will go see a possible duplex for Isla and I am crossing fingers that she likes it and we can get her moved, it's closer to us and from the outside it looks really cute.

Then it's on to shopping with one of my closest friends Linda and then to dinner with the husbands.  No plans for tomorrow which works well for me!

It was pouring here earlier today but right now the sun is trying to peak through.

Good morning my friend,

Well been here at the office since 6AM.  One of the kitties woke me up at 4:30 and so I figured, might as well get my butt up and out and then I can get out of the office earlier and get my weekend started.  Will probably only wor****il about 10 or 11.  I could easily work all day and still not make a dent in the pile of work I have here, but all work and no relaxation makes this girl and biatch.

Depending on the rain, we may head over to Disney tomorrow (want to see Captain EO) and then dinner with my son.  It's his girlfriend's birthday next week, so we'll have a little birthday dinner for her and if we go to Disney, they will probably also meet us there.  I hope it's nice weather.  I really want a fun day tomorrow.  Got my laundry done during the week, so I'm free as a bird to do as I please.

OK, back to the grind here.  The clock is ticking slowly today, but it is still ticking and I'm counting down the seconds until I can get out of here.  Everyone have a wonderful weekend and stay dry and safe.
