LB COFFEE - RAIN UPDATE

Hey gang....I don't know about where you live but here where I am its pouring.....after talking with my "posse" I am just letting you all know that we won't be there.....we just decided.....why go out in this if its not necessary.....Now...if this crap clears up....we will be at coffee... ....otherwise.. ..we will see you all next month for sure...or maybe we can even plan an impromptu get together mid month....

Oh  and I thought that was our secret....but of course we are...thats why we are so sweet.........

I woke up and thought I was listening to the sound of the air conditioner or something.....no! It was the sound of the rain pouring down!!!  I still want breakfast though....

Well, if I did not have a better offer to hang out with the hubby at Pala Casino today, I would be at coffee.  I look forward to this every month provided I am able to attend which I usually can.  I live in Lakewood off of South / Clark and the rain here has subsided.  I am not too far from the Starbucks coffee location so I would imagine the rain is light or has stopped for the moment there.

Well, hubby has brought me my coffee, and I need to get my shower in, clothes ironed and off to the market b/4 heading to the Casino.  My hubby hates the casino and the only reason we are going is because a friend of his is performing with a band in the local lounge there.  Naturally I jumped at the idea of going even if I only get to play for a couple of hours.

About 15 of us showed up and had a nice indoor group--we missed all of you others. I vote for a mid month group like on the 20th as I can't make the week after and this will be my last coffee before my surgery on 3/29

Hi Cristi, it was great seeing you at the LB Coffee.  I cannot make it on the 20th, however, don't let that stop you from meeting.  I will be in San Francisso with my hubby.

We were there and had a great time. We live in Long Beach also and the rain had stopped by the time we left home for Starbucks. I can understand why the folks in another county didn't want the long drive, but really... We were inside, safe and snug, had a great time. Thank you Terry for stepping up and doing your support group leader thing. We even had clothes to share.

So glad you all had a good time and there was room for everyone inside.  We debated about coming but decided we needed to get all the errands run in case the rain came again (which it did)...so we ran all over town and to the mall and ended up out all day.....I will post something early next month and we will all get together when the weather is better...

And Cristy..congrats on your surgery date...I definitely wanna see you before your big day....
