Thanks Dolores! It feels so great! I just realized you lost all of your weight while having a traveling job. That makes it even more amazing because eating out makes it even harder to lose weight! I think we are all amazing!

Hey everyone,

Just a quick hi. Kind of busy today at work. Ok not so much busy, but noisy as hell. Sometimes people don't know when to shut up. I am up 0.6lbs this week. Oh well, no one to blame but myself on that one. Haven't been eating very well the last few days. I hate when I get the muchies. Oh well, onward and upward. Hope you all have a great day.

Hugs, Eileen

Hi Everyone,

Well I did not post last week but last week was a gain of 1 lb.
This week is a loss of 3 lbs.

Wow, roller coaster ride, but I know why I gained the lb.  i STILL like to have POPCORN.   I do not eat it every day, or even over do it, but when I do have some there is usually a slight increase in my weight the next morning.

Well, let me get busy and update the WWW for last week and this week.

I have been extremely busy at the office and unable to do postings, play on FB or with my Farms.   Oh well, I'll post the totals tomorrow around lunch time for the month of February.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Peek-A-Boo!

Yup, it's me!  Howdy all!  I've been lurking, busy and just plain a$$ on the run!  Was sick for 6 days last week and finally drug my butt to the doctor for antibiotics.  I was sick.  Very very sick.  Borderline pneumonia.  Got the "Party Pack" from the docs....... antibiotics, inhaler and cough meds with codine.  That stuff can go down the drain for all I care...........I hate codine!  It makes me sleepy and tired but I do not "sleep"  makes my brain tweek out like I am on CRACK  OMG its horrid.

Got my 25 year Anniversary dinner for the Union (IBEW 1245) on Friday night and get my watch.  Then on Saturday Joe and I are headed to Monterey for the night.  Have a nice hotel room right on the ocean, a crab feed to attend, quiet breakfast on the wharf and heading home.

That's about it.  Except I've gained 10 pounds and am sooooo not happy about it.  I'm working on getting it off but after 5 days of eating right, charting and all that still have not lost a single pound.  Yes, I know my body is probaby holding tight onto it and will relinqui**** here soon.  I hope so.  I've cut out all the crap I had been eating (why does crap go down into and through the pouch so much easier than the good protein does?) and am sticking to a straight 900 - 1000 calories of which 90% is pure protein.

Back to work I go.

Stephanie.......I'm with you.  I HATE TAX SEASON!!!   I have mine to do, my husbands, my daughters and my son's.  UGH.  Mine are the worst......and it looks like I may have to pay which reallly reallllly sucks because I claimed too many deductions.  ShLt

Hey Mo,

On the bright side of taxes, you will get a $400 bonus because you work. It's a "making work pay" gimmick the feds came up with.  It will show up on your tax return on line 63 if I remember correctly, as if you made a payment and then a Schedule M is needed. It does help.  Additionally, take a good look at any unreimbursed employee expenses you or your hubby may have incurred during the year.  It is something people forget about and at times it can add up.  Don't use it if you really don't have any, but if you do, be sure to take advantage of the write-off.  Also, if you made any big purchases during the year, look at what you paid in sales tax versus what was withheld from your pay from state withholding tax.  Sometimes that big purchase can result in a greater tax write off then what was withheld from your salaries and it pays to take the sales tax write off instead of the withholding write off.

Anyway, good luck with getting all those returns done.  I'm in corporate crunch hell right now.  Corporate returns are due March 15th and I'm crazy busy.  So what the hell am I doing here.  Oh just taking a break.  LOL

Thanks for the tips.  To add insult to injury, I am getting a "letter audit" for 2007.  I claimed a bunch of mileage in 2007 because I travelled 16 times to LA with my daughter for her acting auditions, and a few auditions of my own.  Meals, hotels, etc.  Lucky I kept a calendar with mileage, food totals, etc. so I have to answer their questions, and mail in the calendar.  Ugh.

More insult to injury, don't be surprised if they disallow it.  I've run into this before and it comes down to primary occupation as opposed to trying to break into the entertainment business.  You may have to appeal if it comes out to alot of money.  But I've seen them look at it as a hobby and that would limit you to losses/expenses only equaled to income earned from the "hobby".   Completely depends on the auditor who looks at it that particular day and how good or bad a day they are having. Additionally, your daughter, I hope, was your dependent that year because if she wasn't, you'll never get the deduction if you say it was travel for her. Good luck on it though. And yes, UGH!!!

Daughter was 17 at the time and she even had a Coogan account set up for her earnings.  The bulk of the mileage was for her and I had to be there because she had to have a parent on site due to being a minor.  The agent gave me a booket with all the details I kept in my folder.  I've got it covered, just a pain in the butt to have to dig it all out, make photo copies and fill out their letter.

Why do the do this at TAX TIME????  don't they realize I'm busy ?
