Amazing!
I went to Dress Barn to get out of the house and look around. I was talking with the sales lady and I mention my weight loss and how I had no idea what size I was. She asked me how I lost the weight and I told her I had the gastric bypass and she told me she had the lap band and had lost 55 lbs. Her 75 year old mother had the lap band 3 weeks ago and I don't remember how much she has lost. It also turned out I used to work with her son-in-law, who just happens to me a really great guy.
Well for the amazing part, I fit into a size 10 pants! I looked so thin! I started this surgery wearing a very tight size 20. I probably should have been one size bigger. I have gone from a 18/20 shirt to a size large shirt. My 14/16 shirts are getting lose. I bought the slacks. They are just a tad tight but not bad. The 12's were to big! I kept wanting to look in the mirror because I could not believe it was me. I told the sales lady that I felt like a fraud looking in the "regular" size clothes because I feel like I should still be looking in the plus size. It does amaze me!
