***New*** update on Nathalie & Linda 2/10/10

Hi Cali Crew!

Just heard from Nathalie's boyfriend. She went into surgery at 7am this morning. She is going to be on her way to the general recovery room, as I write. They are going to be putting her in her room shortly. He says Dr. Taller said she did good during surgery. Yay!! Whoopee!!

I will give more updates as I hear from her boyfriend or herself. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers, we all know how the first couple of days are. Those that are post-op, come on gang.... scooch your butts over on this bench! We have 2 more loser's this week! Nathalie and Linda (Charger Chick)!! Welcome aboard ladies!!

Update 2/10
I spoke to Nathalie last night. She was able to walk 1/2 a lap. She and Linda are on the same floor. Linda came and sat with her yesterday for a bit. Nathalie, says that she isn't in pain per say, but just some discomfort. She was burping yesterday, which is a good sign. She may be released Friday. Dr. Taller said she had a short abdomen, which is why the surgery took longer than usual. But everything went well.
Linda is doing great too! She is keeping up with her walking. She may get discharged on Thursday. Both women do not have drains. So keep up sending good thoughts out to these two women, they are working!!

Thank you SO much for the update.  I had no doubt both Nathalie and Linda would do great with their surgeries.  Welcome Nathalie and Linda to the losers bench.

You are too funny, Katrina. I don't know Biotin would help with pulled out hair, just hair loss from surgery!! LOL  I know you are anxious, to hear about Nat and the surgery. Let me know if I can answer any questions. I will help with as much information as I can. I am sure others will answer your questions, too. I updated on Nat and Linda in my above original post. I'm home and am doing well!  I left Nathalie in the hospital this morning and spoke to her this evening.  She seems to be doing well.  It was great to have a friend in the hospital with me :)

Hey everyone...
I am finally home after a long car ride in traffic. I am doing well and was just going to get in the shower and rest for the night. Since I left the hospital today I didn't get my nap in...lol
