Hi There I am having the realize band done Feb 22 2010 and I am very nervous about the anesthesia part. Has anyone already had it done and does anyone know approximately how long the whole procedure is and how did you feel after it was done?

VSG on 11/26/07

If you haven't done so post over on the LapBand forum they are a WEALTH of LB info. I had the VSG and I was under less then 2 hours. I felt horrible =) but NOW I'm fabulous!!

I was in and out of the OR in 25 minutes when I had my band, but I suppose the time could vary depending on how quickly the surgeon moves and your anatomy. I felt groggy the rest of the day, but was up and moving the next morning.....actually went and did some shopping!
