Back from the cruise... Surgery Tuesday

Hey everyone,
So I just got back from my Cruise and am preparing for surgery on Tuesday. Let's just say that if you want to go on a cruise do not I repeat do not use Norwegian Cruise Lines. That has to be the worse vacation that I have ever had. From day one it sucked. We left LA 3 hours late so we got to Cabo 3 hours late and ended up only having 3-4 hours in port once they got their act together and us off the ship. The other 2 ports were good but it was raining. Now I am not blaming the ship for the weather since we made the best of it and had fun off of the ship. The food was really really not good but on a happy note I did not gain weight like I was concerned about. The staff was not pleasant at all and there wasn't a lot to do on the ship on our days at sea. So all in all it kinda sucked. 

On a happier note I am pretty much prepared for surgery. I just have a few last minute things to do. I have most of my jello made and broth in the wings...lol

I so cant wait until Tuesday morning!!! Michelle T will post when I am out of surgery and how I am doing on Tuesday. She is gonna be my angel I think I get internet access at the hotel so I will take my laptop to distract me tomorrow night since I am sure I won't be able to sleep... Losers bench here I come.

I've heard such great things about cruises. I'm sorry yours was less than anticipated.

But now, on to new beginnings. I will be praying for you, your surgery and a speedy recovery. Lots of prayers from your OH friends are on their way I am sure.

Cruises are generally great and the one we went on before and the one my Boyfriend went on were completely awesome. We just got a dud this time.

But as you said new beginnings are just around the corner :)

Glad you made the best of your cruise situation.  It just really sucks when things don't go according to plan through no fault of your own.

We took a 7 day Alaskan cruise on the Dawn Princess and we were totally underwhelmed by that cruise.  The scenery was beautiful, but the food and service was pretty bad.  My husband says never again.

Well you will be in my prayers on Tuesday.  I will look forward to hearing that everything is o.k. Good Luck!
