Good Super Bowl Sunday Morning

Good Morning Everyone,

How is everyone this morning. I am good, enjoying a good cup of coffee, relaxing on the couch watching tv. I got called off from work this morning. YEAH for me. I didn't think I would get it, but I did. I still maybe have to go in at 3pm.

I was supposed to go out with the girls last night for a few hours, but had to cancel. My pouch got into an arguement with a banana muffin, and the muffin won. I have had them before, but goes to show you that you never know what will or won't agree with you. The rest of them will go to work with me now, let my coworkers enjoy them. At least I got to smell them cooking.

Not sure what I am going to do today. I won't know if I am needed at work till about 2pm. I hope you all have a fabulous day, on what ever you are doing.

Super Bowl--Boring!  At least for me. I am sure my DH will watch it.  We were invited to a party to watch the game but we decided to stay home. I think I will do laundry instead.  In fact I'd rather do laundry instead. We are passing on the Daytona party next Sunday too. I may go to Penny's and try on jeans.  I still haven 't bought smaller ones yet.  Just haven't been in the mood to go and try on clothes.  I know I  need to in order to see what size I am because I have no idea!

Well if you are watching football today I hope your team wins and I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.

So glad you got to stay home this morning but sorry that banana nut muffin didn't agree with you UGH, that's no fun indeed.   Sorry I haven't been able to meet you for coffee.... I have been running all week and by the time I get home I fall asleep in the chair and it's game over.  I think it's got to the be weather.

Today I have to drive my step mom home to SF and then will come back and watch the game.  We've enjoyed having her here as usual.  She, Isla and I went shopping yesterday to Costco, the nursery, Navalet's and Wal Mart and to lunch which was great fun.

I hope you enjoy your day and do something nice for you.

Morning Eileen and Cali,

It has been a busy weekend.  I got home Friday afternoon, picked up Ms V, went grocery shopping and then to dinner.  I was pooped.  Yesterday we went more shopping, I did laundry and we met up with DH's aunt and sister in Santana Row for lunch.  Got home made enchiladas and chilquiles for DH to have next week.  I leave for Seattle again Monday morning.  Still have church, packing, get nails done and Ms V's clothes picked out for next week school.  I don't let DH choose the outfits she might look like an orphan (checks and stripes-yikes).  He tries bless his heart but if he is running late all bets are off, so it is better to be prepared!

Good Morning! Ack, sorry about the muffin. I had a similar experience with oatmeal yesterday. Blech!

Dolores, you seem way busy. I hope you get to chill out at some point! I am glad Ms V isn't going to look like an orphan either :-)

My Sunday involves helping my mom shop for things she needs for Hawaii and having my family over for the Super Bowl. None of us are big football fans, but it's a good excuse to hang out, and see all the hype that comes with it.

Good Afternoon Eileen and Everyone

Sorry about your pouch Eileen.  Hope you are feeling much better today.

Today I have already washed the bedding, boiled my ribs and in the crockpot now, & mopped the kitchen floor.

I was a little discouraged yesterday as I am trying to get to NM to visit my folks.  This is usually a task as they live in different cities.  I was ready to just give up and not go at all.  Now mind you, my folks saw me last May (prior to WLS) and have no clue what I look like now as the last picture I sent was in Oct/Nov.  A phone call from my mom a while ago has changed my outlook to go visit now at the end of July.  There will be a 50th anniversary which will allow me to see both sides of the family at one time, including relatives and friends I have not seen in over 20 years.  We will meet at the lake in Ft. Sumner home of Billy the Kid Museum (LOL). 

Football is not my game but I will watch with my husband just as soon as I finish working on another paper for the office.  Employers are gone on a cruise as of today for a week so I will be even busier this week than in the weeks past.  If I could just get my OSHA stuff done that is now 8 days past due I will be happy.

Well, if you watch football may your team win.  I could care less.  Looking forward to the upcoming baseball season and this year's All Star Game will be held right here in our back yard at Angel Stadium.  YAHOO!!!!
