Today I am thankful for...

1.  No rain in the forecast.

2.  Getting to play music tonight at rehearsal.

3.  Warm coffee on a cold morning.

I like the quote this morning.  I'm thinking that having surgery is going to bring me face to face with things that I may have been avoiding with food.  I think this is going to be really interesting and I'm giving myself permission to ask others for help.

This morning I'm thankful for:
1.  My surgery date 2/08/2010.  I had to switch surgeon's or wait until Mid March, so I switched.  Dr. Im will operate, Dr. Park will assist.

2. That it's not pouring since I have to drive to Richmond for the third morning in a row. (4 hour pre-op class this morning)

3.  That I'll be able to sleep tonight. I had a bit of anxiety at 1am when I realized that my surgery is less than two weeks away.  5:30 was way too early for that alarm!

I have so much to appreciate in my life!

Yehhhh Lee!  I am so excited for you!  Dr Park was my surgeon and Dr Im was the assist. Plus I saw him at my 6month check up...both are so down to earth ;-)  You will definitely be good hands.

I remember my 4-hour pre-op..bor-ing LOL  Was Liz and Robin the main talkers?  ahhhhh...to walk down memory lane ^_P

You are so sweet.  Thank you for building my confidence.

Yes, the class is still as boring and it was Liz and Robin doing the class.

Dr. Im had a family emergency, so it was Dr. Park that did my physical this afternoon.  I've seen quite enough of Kaiser Richmond this week.  Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning, then back this afternoon.  I was supposed to have my physical tomorrow afternoon but Dr. Im won't be back.  Dr. Park told me that if Dr. Im is not back, Dr. Fisher will do my surgery.  I started with Dr. Baggs, so we had a good laugh about me checking out every surgeon in the department.

I'll definitely keep in touch, maybe more than you'd like.  I've definitely got a little bit of anxiety going on.

Today, I am thankful for...

For finally getting a car and not having to walk to work at 5:00 am.

My insurance getting approved so I can go and get some pain meds

The wonderful heater under my desk that is keeping me from freezing my buns off

Getting to see friends on Saturday!!!

I am so happy to hear you finally got a car.  The weather is so unpredictable to have to walk every place.  Yeah for you!!

Another great one Barb.  It is so true, I have faced fears and came out better because of them (motherhood being I think the biggest fear of mine!!)

Today I am thankful for:

Mr Sun, Sun, Sun!!  ( Ms V was singing this on the way to school)

Having a wonderful hubby, he does so much for us!!!

Having great staff (we are ready for the new job, whatever come our way!!!)

THE SUN!!!  I even brought my walking clothes to work; sure hope Mr Sun stays out til I get a chance to take a break.

My Boss...he is so supportative and backs me up when our members don't follow thru with paperwork I need.

A good cup of coffee this morning.maybe decaf but it sure starts my morning in the right direction
