Blaming others is an emotional drain; accepting responsibility and taking action is an emotional energizer. The good news is that you have control over both options.

Good Morning Cali Friends, what are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for...

1.  The seminar I was supposed to go to in SF was cancelled due to the weather.

2.  Tomorrow is Friday and then the Nor Cal luncheon on Sat.

3.  Making small positive changes toward further weight loss success.

OK your turn, what are you thankful for today?

Morning Barb
Great quote as usual; you 'speak' to me everyday, in some way, with the quotes you find. ^_^

Today I am Thankful for:

today being the last day of rain until Monday (IF the forecasters are right?)...Saturday's drive over to Concord should be easy-peasy ^_^

realizing that being loved by someone has nothing to do with what 'size' I am...but with 'who' I am

realizing I'm in control...my choices, my decisions, my responsibility!
Hope everyone has a great day...rain or shine ;-)

Good Morning!  Today I am thankful for:

A better commute to SF than expected :)...

That I asserted myself and got my point across this morning in a work situation in a gentle humorous way that is making that person friendly to me rather than antagonistic.. I don't know where the wit or tact came from.. but thankful it materialized when I needed it.

The scale moving again.. despite going off my hormones a month ago, craving salt like nobody's business, and my monthly visitor about to visit... this WLS journey oftentimes defies logic.

That I didn't commit HariKari on a co-worker this morning when she asked me quite loudly (while ascending the stairs in our reception area where several attorneys were waiting for depos to begin) how much weight I have lost now... OMGosh.  Wish I had a big paint gun that shoots purple paint balls.. that's her favorite color.  HOW RUDE.  I smiled and kept walking as if she were talking to someone else.  Everyone sorta looked at her strangely. I was out of there and around the corner in a flash!

Thankful that the weight loss helps me move quick!

AND.. LASTLY.. AND THE THING I AM MOST THANKFUL FOR TODAY!!!
I'VE LOST 100 LBS! Been flirting with it up and down for a little over a week or so now.. but today the scale reading was solid!

Love and hugs all around!

Good Morning my friend<

I am thankful for

A roof over my head that doesn't leak

A warm bed for me to crawl into anytime I want

a wonderful hubby who puts up with all kinds of crap, and no, not just from me.

Stay warm, stay dry, miss and love you.

Congratulations Rachel!  100 lbs is so great!  Hi Diane!

Today I am thankful for two beautiful healthy grand children, and that I got to spend to today with them.

For 65 lbs lost and I have added a Complex B vitamin and am feeling better.

That it is not supposed to rain on Sat when I go to the Nor Cal luncheon and met some wonderful people!

Hi all,

Today I am thankful for;

1. My warm wonderful house
2. A good job interview today. Even if I don't get the job, I met great people.
3. Taking the time to go to the gym and straighten up the clutter in my house
4. Knowing it's all going to be all right.
