Group Meeting this Saturday! San Leandro, CA

Hello CA Members,

Looking to connect both online and in person with fellow WLS people in the San Francisco Bay Area?  I write to let you know we have launched the OH Groups page for East Bay Bariatric Support Group.  Our physical group meets the third Saturday of every month at the San Leandro Hospital's Education Center of the hospital (behind the ER).  For more info, visit our website: www.eastbaybariatric.org.  Our group is an independent peer support.  Meetings are free, registration is not required and all surgery types are welcomed and encouraged.

Next meeting: Saturday, November 15.  Pre-op & Newbie Q&A is from 1:15-1:45; general session for all is from 2 - 3:30 p.m.

East Bay Bariatric is a supportive and valuable resource for people who have had or are considering weight loss surgery.  Our meetings offer education, encouragement and community to help people determine if bariatric surgery is right for them and/or to reach and maintain their optimum weight loss.  Together we provide insight for supporters and information for those interested in learning more about the surgical treatment of obesity.
